I really like the simple look of them and would prefer the white stock laces. The details are well chosen and Yuto deserves every bit he archieved the last year. He is mindblowing. What i dont like is the slim tongue. Recently many colourways come with slim tongues made of different materials. I love puffy tongues and must say that the new court purple orange labes sb low is look much nicer. (: Its all matter of taste. Also 130 dollar retail is too much for this dunk. I have the run the jewels and the crushed dc and they are in the same price range. As a skateboarder who loves riding sb dunks for nearly 20 years now i prefer used highs which are way more cheaper and skate really good with extra ankle support.
I compared it to a few diff sbs but not the 4s -‘I’ll do that today but my initial impressions are it’s not as soft, it’s a diff grain and has been processed differently to the sb4 - it’s not horrendous I just think it’s not as premium as the other materials

Tbh bro resell wasn’t that bad if you got in on them a few days ago - I even copped an extra pair from stock x for £300 all in ($350) which I don’t think is that bad considering this shoe will be $400 $450 early next year
the loss of the thick tongue is such a good move on his part, 2 main reasons skaters don’t wear sb’s as much is bc the cost and how hard they are to find as well as performance all skaters are used to paper thin insoles for the best board feel but i always liked sb’s more. i hated the overly fat tounge tho bc it made it harder to lace up and kinda overly cushiony towards the toe box and made ollie’s or heel flips feel super weird
Back when I skated I always preferred etnies or Lakais. Sb's were always hard to get, but my best friend let me have his prods, and I beat them into the ground. Now I'm a sneakerhead, and will beat these into the ground in a different way 🔥
Definitely one of the best dunks this year. Wish I bit the bullet earlier but I once again had the pipe dream that I would finally hit on SNKRS, now they just keep rising past a justified price for me.
The comments about the tongue thickness are all wrong. Nike sb had a whole era for thin tongues like the IW sea crystals, wasn’t that rare back in the day. And Yutos are the same thickness as CSC, noise aquas, mystics reds. That’s the new sb tongue for most releases going forward

I happy you were able to get them. I tried through the SNKRS app and went to four different places in Tokyo and couldn't get them, lame. I also didn't have any luck with the Palomino. I am going to keep looking around, hopefully I'll get luck with the Red Cements. Great videos.
For skating, I am just gonna stick to my reebok shawn kemps that I can buy for about $120. I would be interested in buying a pair of these Yutos in my size at retail at $130+ tax as my first ever shoe to collect. I do like how they look. I am starting to understand this sneakerhead thing more.
Fckin impossible to buy a pair. If u don’t win in a skate shop raffle then forget it. Nike need to make MORE to stop the non-skater resellers ruining it for everybody. If I wanna buy a pair now I have to pay £300 on eBay
Beautiful shoe but I cannot stand the pink touches on it. The one on the heel and the one underneath. The one on the heel is the major one. Completely ruins the shoe from me. Definitely a no-buy
Bro I wore these last night! They arrived August 31st on my b-day. Hit raffle for Yutos and Crenshaws on CCS and aquas on snkrs. Best month of my life 😂😂
A great shoe, im lucky to get it retail and i love the versatility. My only gripes, if i must nit pick, there are very small (but not abnormal for nike) defects, such as tiny glue stains and a thread wasnt terminated correctly and its left long. Easy fix. I do wish the white side panels were made of the same, softer leather as the white on the toe. Still a great shoe after all that being said
late to the vid, i think these are fantastic. Obviously didn’t hit. buuuutttt, i recently picked up the jordan 1 low sneaker day korea “magpie” and can’t believe there is absolutely no talk about them. the quality is fantastic and has a similar killer colorway. I know it’s not a dunk low SB. and for some reason no one goes after Jordan one lows anymore, but if you’re looking to save “150 bucksssss” maybe check them out.
100%. I follow Yuto since he turned pro but I was so confused when the sneakerheads got crazy about them. Nobody can tell me that these aint looking basic af on feet
It’s a clean colourway, you have to consider wearability and these are very simple - the pink and brown also give off the stussy sb vibe which has become a grail sb to a lot of people but you’re right in that these prob wouldn’t have been as popular if they weren’t a collab and weren’t limited
I got these and absolutely love the shoe unfortunately on my pair the leather is trash got my pair right from snkrs and once it arrives the leather was torn and it had glue marks all over nike qc is trash 😩
Love the shoe and the calm vibe it gives even tho I do like the more flashy and crazy SBs but only reason why I’m not crazy about this one is def the tongue, im 100 percent a fat tongue enthusiast 😅
I heard that logo is his family crest logo. Anyway I'm not sure if I'm going 2 buy these. They're very plain. Nothing wrong with that off course but if I do it's purely FOMO. FOMO is real😂. I love comedy and I like sneaker content, just something light and not to serious to consume. There's enough bad things happening in the world. ❤ But cool cool sneaker.
The white leather is really good quality. It’s just a thick cut, and you can see that on the right and left edges of the toebox where it feels like the leather puffs up a bit

Every time I see theese I get mad. I got my first ever EA on them on a bank holiday Monday. I woke up 25 min after I got the notification and of course they were sold out😢
It’s the game unfortunately bro - being into sneakers over the past 10 years has meant accepting resell as an inevitable part of the scene and you can either move with it and play the game or not - and I don’t mind tbh
@sneakernomics5547 seems that you can't relate since I've been into sneakers since 2005. It used to be very simple, 90% of the time you walked up into wherever you wanted, payed retail and walked out. Resell was also not terrible back in those days. Nowadays with the whole raffle system....it's just goofy af. I respect that you don't mind paying out the ass, it's your money after all, but when I compare retail versus resell and it's like 500% increase...hell no. But you have at it my boy, do what you do 🤷♂️
i cant stand watching those never felt more betrayed getting hyped cause of early access and then couldnt buy them take the L the next day aftwards and then everywhere else. i never get anything limited of the sb line....
