Yuto Horigome is famously known for being the first ever Olympic gold medalist in the sport of skateboarding, and he recently just dropped his first ever collaboration with Nike SB. These beautiful Dunks are inspired by Ōjima Komatsugawa Park, which is where his spark and love of the sport was formed. Being a skater, it’s hard for me to pass on SB’s. So when I heard Yuto was gon make a colorway I was so hyped. His part was phenomenal which is no surprise. These dunks were also a grand slam imo. Colorway is simple yet beautiful. Can’t wait to rock my pair w the pink laces

Got blessed with these from my local skate shop raffle, shoe of the year for me 100%. Colorways this clean and versatile don’t come around all the time and knowing it was a Yuto collab, made it a no brainer for my collection. Dope vid as always Sean 🔥

Great review, Sean! I really love these! I’m all for the muted, minimalistic looking collabs, so these are right up my alley. I’ve never owned a pair of SB Dunks and probably have less than a 0% chance of getting retail. The resale price is a bit higher than I’d like but significantly less than what a typical SB Dunk goes for. Let me see what I can free up in closet to justify copping resale…😂

absolutely love this colorway and the materials used. really happy i hit on a raffle for these! as far as the tongue goes, this specific pair has a thinner tongue than usual SBs have. must've been Yuto's design choice since they said it was designed according to his specifications

Love this pair hopefully I can secure a pair on the sneakers App. Grat detailing the color definitely fits the fall time. Would add the pink laces for extra contrast. They kinda remind me of the waffle ice cream with Strawberry con the back brown (chocolate) and white (vanilla). Nice review Sean

Told you I was waiting for this. Stunning shoe. My pair also has great build and construction with much more slim tongue. After some wear I actually prefer the tongue fill and texture as nylon yellows and attracts dirt far less than the fabric. Top 5 SOTY 😮

This will be my first Dunks if able to cop. I used to SB and do occasionally is the reason why and really like the color scheme on these. Subtle and clean with not to much saying look at my feet. 🔥💸

Just copped these on snkrs ,so glad I will actually get to see these soon. I love the inspiration and that it comes from the Olympic champion .Also love the matching colors that were implemented.These are definitely 10/10 so clean and easy to wear

August was like a dream for me. I hit Crenshaws and Yutos both on CCS, I also hit noise aquas on snkrs the same day I hit Yutos. Then Yutos arrived on my birthday August 31st! I also hit on carbon foams and utility blacks on confirmed. Truly am thankful for the luck I received! SB’s are my favorite by far💯

Oh and for the tongue tag, this pair actually comes with a thinner tongue as opposed to the usual thick ones that SB's usually have. Might be Yuto's preference when it comes to skating so they might have changed it because of that.

I’m so jealous that you have those. They are botted here in the Philippines and I couldn’t rock them. I don’t buy shoes for reselland never did since I don’t find it matching with its retail value. @@SeanGodo these feel just the same as a regular SB, or can you notice the difference in the thinner tongue? I normally get a 9.5 in all my SB’s without even thinking about it, which is a 1/2 size up from my normal size. But I’m just so on the fence with these…9 or 9.5?, I can’t decide. I’m picky with my shoes, and it really bugs me when the heel slips in my shoes.🫣🤣
