I understand people get mad about less talented females getting sponsored but the reality is that she is out there pushing and progressing. It’s not purely style and it’s not fair to compare her to other female pros, all of them are sponsored and taken care of already. Videos like these will inspire other women to pick up a skateboard because it looks more achievable, and this girl is putting in the work on her end to do that part and push her own limits. It’s not wrong to acknowledge a majority of women aren’t at the same skill level as some men in skateboarding but she is good for an amateur female skateboarder and if you are to compare someone then at least do it fairly. Skateboarders love to support and promote equality publicly but under that a lot of y’all are insecure and jealous. Nike has the means to fund hundreds of skaters so this lady out here trying to make it for herself ain’t going to put a dent on your chance.

This video is a vibe. Really takes me back to my time in Barcelona even though I wasn't a skater while living there. Cata is great, a true role model.
