I recently picked up a pair of the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 that was sitting on sale, in a retro-looking "Wheat Grass / Cacao Wow" colour combination. One of my favourite shoes to wear for comfort, these feature a mix of brown synthetic leather, tan and orange hits, and the Cushlon / Zoom cushioning combo everyone has come to love. Got the all black Vomero 5 that released recently. While they’re definitely expensive at retail they’re surprisingly comfortable and utilitarian. The perfect beater for the summer months!

I owned a pair of the Cold Wall (white) Vomero 5’s….they are very comfortable and was a great collaboration. This was back in 2018. This go around with the Vomero model seems like a response to the NB 2002R and 1906. Not really feeling the comeback. Comfortable shoe though, no doubt.

Colors are reminiscent of the Goretex NB 2002R. Interesting model; definitely takes some design cues from Asics in points. The earthy Timberland esque colors are a cool choice for a sporty performance model. By the way have you seen that New Balance recently dropped a 480 in Panda Dunk colors? You gotta get a pair and do a comparison to the Dunks even if just for the memes; especially since 480s are dirt cheap. 😄

Love the looks of these, but I think everyone is lying to themselves regarding comfortability. Way better lifestyle shoes from asics and NB imo

@@SeanGo they’re not awful, but don’t come close to competitors - mine are still super stiff under foot after a few months wear. To each is own though, I appreciate your thoughts regardless
