NikeCraft x Tom Sachs General Purpose Shoe "Dark Sulfur" (Archive): Review & On-Feet 

So glad I won the raffle for this! Definitely one of those "ready to go out the door everyday" type of shoe. I think that yellow is a perfect fall colour as well. Thanks for the review as always!

I'm waiting on the gray pair thanks for the sizing tips & mentioning how comfortable they are once broken in. The yellow is a little too loud and I don't have anything to go with them so I skipped. They're not a bad looking shoe and not great but are great beaters.

Thanks for the review, Sean. This convinced me to grab a pair. I just received these Dark Sulfurs - they're comfy out of the. box for me. Will wear them the whole day today and see if the comfort holds up. I like the color better in hand vs the online photos. I can see myself wearing these often with jeans, khakis and chinos. I have to try them on with shorts/dress - then these will really have a general purpose for me :-)

I’m back again to confirm Sean is right about sizing, I went TTS with my brown pair but receiving the yellow pair a half size down my true size, it definitely more comfortable but I love both sizing- if I want it to be cozy for the winter and wear thick socks I’ll go TTS but going half size down is definitely a safer route.

This shoe is dope. It's clean. But I really wish the sneaker community would stop pretending as if this is something special. It's not. The guy who collabed on the shoe literally said so. It's literally in the marketing rollout. If you just like the hype then say that. We don't have to act like this is something we've never seen before. I'm glad you kept it real because some people I've spoken to have really tried to amp up this release and I think that missed the point. This is at best a marginally elevated Killshot OG, if that. And that's fine. What sucks is that I was really intrigued about this shoe because I never understood the Tom Sachs hype and thought this might be my chance to get a pair and see what the fuss was about. But of course "sneaker heads" will sneaker head every time and this shoe is going to be impossible to get without jumping through unnecessary hoops. I can't believe I'm seeing a day where a shoe like this is reselling for triple the retail price while the OG fire red Jordan 3 with Nike Air, correct shape and elephant print is barely over retail a month before the release. Strange times. Sneaker culture can be so cringe. Dope honest, review as always though. Literally one of my favorite reviewers, because it's an actual review and it's concise. I'm going to try and get these but I might just grab the sacai Cortez instead. Looking forward to your review on those . Especially the sizing.

Someone pointed out a while back that these could be inspired by the Nike ACG Lowcates which would make sense on the point of the trail inspiration

I hit on the cream TS studio restock. I think I actually like this sulfur colorway better. Since the cream has more trade/resale value, I might let the cream go even though it is more versatile. Except for travel, versatility (not wearability) matter less than me these days with an oversized collection.

I accidentally copped a 7.5 cause it’s a 9 in women’s. Just got them today and they fit ok & not tight but I’m not a 7.5, should I upgrade it to a 8.5-9.5?

To me these just look like a modern take on retro sneakers (ie Killshots with tabs, a waffle sole and a more cleaner cut). But also I like the look. I've been into modernized classic running shoes for a little while now. NB 327, Nike Daybreak, Puma Future Rider, Adidas' Retropy lineup, etc. Maybe when the hype dies down, I'll get a pair.

Hi Sean, I know you answered this question in the video. But, I wanted to be a little more specific. I watch your videos for every release because I am also a size 10 on the wider side lol. I wear a 9.5 in Chuck 70's, size 10 in all Air Jordans, size 10.5 in air max 97's, 10.5 in air max 95's, size 10 in dunks, size 10 in blazers, size 11 in huarache. I do not like a 1 to 1 fit, prefer a little room. For instance in Cement 4's I can get away with a 9.5 for a 1 to 1 fit, but prefer a size 10. Do you think I should get a women's 11.5 or womens11 for these (mens 10 mens 9.5). Thank you for your time. Really appreciate the videos, they save me a lot of time, so that I don't have to do the trial and error.

Hi Sean, does the toebox stretch and loosen up over time? I went half size down in these, and they are really tight in the toebox area. The mid and the back portion of the shoe are fine as I have narrow feet. I was wondering should I try to wear and give them some time, or should I try to find them in my TTS? Thanks!

Well these will be easy to legit check. You know damn well that the fake won’t get the inside stitching/footboard right. It’ll look way different. All You gonna have to do is take the insole out & you’ll pretty much know whether it’s a fake pair or real pair. Marsyard’s were hard to legit check. So this will be alot nicer 👍🏽

Colorway strikes as an original mars yard. Pull tabs and white mesh behind the laces. Sweet pair otherwise.
