Great segment! Best part of the interview was Nikki almost telling the uncensored version of the lottery ticket joke, and hearing Brockman knowingly laugh in the background. I’m not sure the other guys picked up on that. good stuff.
What a lucky bastard, small price he has to pay. Nikki is one of the funniest people on the planet, crazy smart, and gorgeous. She crushed this roast too.
Meh. She dresses well for her body. Shes a 6.5 but funny makes her an 8. She actually talks about being sexually awkward, not the superstar everyone thinks she is
Need to put her in movies A lot of the romantic comedy movies have disappeared. I think she will be really good and what a story after this roast her career sky rocked but she always been this good I have been watching roast for a long time and she always makes them better.
I don't think she'd do one unless she had more free reign then actors typically get, she's edgy so to have someone controlling her script like they do in movies, I just don't see her giving in to that. Same reason Chapelle doesn't really do movies anymore.
So crazy because listening to Joe Rogan since 2010, you learn about all of these comedians. It’s like we’ve known her for so long, so happy to see her getting the attention she deserves.
What a crock !! I might have bought Dave Chappelle's continued success is important, but this roast was no where near as harsh as roasts past. It was average.
Todd Bowles, that's cool. But who knew Rich Eisen was a Nikki Glaser fan?! It figures, 'cause Rich is one of the coolest guys in media. I first saw Ms. Glaser on Netflix's "The Standups" back in 2017, and have followed her ever since -- from the terrific "You Up with Nikki Glaser" series, to returning home to live with her parents in St. Louis during the Pandemic, and on to becoming a major star with her series of comedy specials on Netflix -- and now HBO. (If you think about it, tons of comedians get a Netflix special -- because Netflix has deep pockets, and a bottomless need for content. But HBO is far more selective -- and an HBO special is the pinnacle for a comedian, marking them as a major figure in both show business & American culture. Over the years, HBO's comedy specials have been headlined by a "Who's Who" of the great ones...including George Carlin, Eddie Murphy, Chris Rock, Robin Williams, Dave Chappelle, Jerry Seinfeld...and now Ms. Nikki Glaser.) Her work is personal, and revealing of herself & her struggles. On stage she is raw, genuine, fearless, and (of course) hilarious. I love both Jerry Seinfeld -- who works clean, and doesn't go deep into himself -- and Ms. Glaser, who goes as deep as any comedian ever has. It's great to see not just Ms. Glaser, but a number of women in comedy (Iliza Schlesinger, Whitney Cummings, Sarah Silverman) taking center stage, and becoming major stars. I'd pay good money to see them all, just as I'd pay to see Jerry, Dave, Rock, Marc Maron, or Neal Brennan.
I think she’s super funny and talented. I do find it funny to hear her talk about how sensitive she is yet she can go out there and obliterate people. It’s like a double standard. Like the old saying goes if you can dish it out you better be able to take it!
Sorry but Gisele can miss me with being "disappointed" about the jokes that were made about her. When Tom Brady is as famous as he is and she was married to him for a period of time she couldn't have thought that folks wouldn't say things about her that she might not like. She should be glad at least that the kids weren't joked about
Hopefully Tom brushes it off and doesn’t let her tarnish the experience for him. At the same time, she didn’t really sign up for a Roast, so I can see why she’s annoyed.
@@Clarity-808 Sure she did not sign up for the roast, but maybe she should not have gone on vacation right after a separation from her ex with another man especially when he has been in your life for awhile. Fairly or unfairly people are going to assume the worse and make jokes or snide remarks.. Even if nobody had found out it has to confuse her kids as to why he is going along with them.
Nikki, you were definitively the BEST in that roast (also in the Rob Lowe Roast), you have an awesome man by your side, don’t say that he should sleep with other women… cherish him! You will be very very successful with your intelligence, your looks and your formula, but life passes so very quickly that eventually you will have to evolve in your comedy. Meanwhile explode your youth, I would like to see you collaborating with the Black Tape Project… that would be a MAJOR HIT. I wish you all the best!! Enjoy your beautiful life!! 🙏🏼
People aren't grasping that Brady is a huge Roast fan and knew exactly what he was getting into. Brady;s own closing set showcases his own Roast fandom he's always had.
Love Nikki Glaser for her pants down honesty and vulnerability. I was sad to hear, however, that she likes the same singer as 11 year old girls, Taylor Swift.
If Nikki is that good why is she still single? She’s definitely beautiful and that joke about leaving her man was funny af. Her man definitely gets disrespected by her.
Nah. Boyfriend is something I think is wrong with men today. There is alot of as long as it's funny, or entertaining, it's ok. Shecwas roasting people who agreed to be roasted and included her boyfriend who she is supposed to love. Big difference. The boyfriend may have been trying to be a good sport but I'm betting he will remember that comment. One thing she didn't say, was any sort of confirmation that she meant nothing by the joke. What she did do was insinuate with more jokes that she was kidding not kidding. I think she was hilarious. One of the funniest roasts I've seen. But that joke disrespectful of her boyfriend wasn't necessary. Imagine slotting other people into that joke. Mom, I would shoot you in the face...daughter...anyone you are supposed to love, nah, can't convince me that was necessary. Maybe boyfriend knows and that's why he stays a boyfriend and not husband
she will never be funny to me, no matter what she does, the fact she has to make desperate controversial attempts at humour like that show me shes not worth the interest she gets
