Fake? Ish? Like...This was sent in by crue's management to make it LOOK like a 'interveiw'? The channel? Has 500 subs. Kinda weird to have a HUGE guest like this. But..hey? What do I know ?😊
Have to admit, if they insist on carrying on, John 5 is a perfect choice. And he's a good guy. Mick's a legend and unfairly maligned, and regrettably in such frail health.
Hey I grew up in Freemont I live by the old GM plant in the Irvington district I would've gone to Irvington high but like 50% of the couples in the 70s my parents got a divorce and I moved to Milpitas but I went to Harvey Green elementary and Reynolds before it was torn down then Robertson Jr high I live in the Sacramento area now so let me know where you grew up btw I'm 58 and remember a few names anyway but it was a cool city to grow up in I did play little league baseball in the FBI league also I could not wait to get my stock radio out of my 72 pinto the stereo I put in it was worth more than my car lol but I was ROCKIN and ended up at parties around Freemont when I got older and I shouldn't forget lake Elisabeth or lake no fish I never caught shit at that lake idt anyone else did either 😅
those fields? was there a sewage waste plant there? my dad kept his horses out there there was a auto junk yard there too p&c auto they sponsored my little league team
One of the thing that I love about Motley Crue is that it's kind of like what happens with every new Doctor, except its with their albums. "No... why .. it's not the same .. make it go away ... no ... no .. I won't listen ... I won't .. wait.. I think I like it." Until you get worn down and just accept the fact that whether you like it from the first note or not, you are goingto keep liking itdown through the ages so you may as well just jump in and stop having expectations.
John 5 was a perfect replacement for Motley Crue due who past work ethic with many different bands..He learns the songs the way they are on the studio albums, and the way they play them live, when he auditioned in the past hed ask them which way they want to play them. He is somebody thet would do Mick justice and play the songs the way they were ment to be played and how fans expect them to sound.
@@thedude4672 Mick and Motley Crue was the band that made me want to be a musician. As a guitar player tho as good as people think Mick is, in technical ability John 5 is one of the best shredders and able to play all genres of music...when he has worked with other bands, he learns the songs as they are studio and live and has worked with many other people...As for firing that is not how it started, Mick retired from touring, and him and John talked, John said Mick was the first person that messaged him after he was in. then things started with Mick wanting 25% of the money from touring which he was no longer doing..then things got heated into all the rest of the mess.
Nikki's not wrong that Motley came out different at the time. They took melodic rock and made it with a punk mentality and the two styles created something that wasn't totally either camp. People forget how all the hair bands in the 80's tried to copy Crue, most failing or being them without the attitude. Music snobs knock them these days for not being overly accomplished technical players like being the greatest bassist in the world, but they never tried to be, never claimed to be. They were just a big party. Everybody's entitled to their own opinion, but I still like them. Some people are stuck in the past, but I appreciate getting new music. These guys are rich. They never need to play again financially. So any music or playing these days is for the pure love of it. Don't like them? There are thousands of other bands to listen to. Go ahead. But me, I like them and I like the new song. It's a catchy middle finger at the critics of a song, which doesn't get more Crue than that!
The new song rocks! People are always gonna hate on motley, that's what makes motley, surviving all the negativity and hate because bottom line is their shit is good!
I'm just glad you guys are at putting out a new song .what fans don't understand is you guys are moving forward and not back words each album guys have done was always different. But shout at the devil will always be my favorite album.
What Nikki said there about the world being f****d up and being nice to people sucked. That guy told me to get the F outta here when I asked him to sign my personal copy of 'Saints ' when they stayed at a hotel close to where I live in the uk. Dude, if you don't want us fans to know where you are staying DON'T POST ON SOCIAL F-ING MEDIA PHOTOS. So disappointing as, I've been a fan of these guys since 1987
The music is good, but they are lughead pieces of .... (except Mick). I read a review of Dr Feelgood back in 89 where they called them lugheads. Perfect description.
I'm not sure what to think about the video's of 2024. Whether it is Motley Crue or some other band. A for effort B for unfailing but C for overstated.( Weather) I ment whether-typo
I really liked the new song . I liked how the heavy start of the song .but I'm all over the place in music 🎶 so I liked the first time heard it .and John 5 solo was killer .
@@chrisstaff5870 it’s no secret that Niki six couldn’t even play bass on their first album. It’s literally on the VH1 behind the music. Enough video footage to know he is not playing bass on stage. Mick mars and John 5 on other hand I can tell you they are. I play guitar and can tell. For some reason they don’t using vocals for Vince tho
@@rogeliofernandezjimenez3053 on what footage? I hope you not talking about this video cuz no one is playing on that video. And yea he couldn’t play bass. He can barely play now. He said himself he didn’t want to be a musician he wanted to be a rock star. That’s why musicians don’t respect him at all
Yeah piss off Nikki. Inability to get Mick to record🤣 the guy just released a full solo album and played his ass off. This spin talk is BS. Nikki has zero credibility on this subject
This new Crue song is not that deep where it takes multiple listens to "get it"...its very cliche, stock, ....overall generic and I hope not indicative of what this new Crue is going to sound like.
In Detroit The bands come to see the crowd The crowd is not there for the bands We just love the music LOL I know you have no idea Detroit is a different place We love our music
John5 is a great fit .... MC works better when the guitarist is the most talented. This song isn't horrible but not quite as rocking as Other Side of Mars.
I've heard more bootleg concerts from start to finish of the Crüe than almost anyone, I'd presume. Nikki brings up "Danger", one of my favorite Crüe-songs ever, it's a freakin' mystery why that one hasn't been played live. Crüe should do a deep dive tour if they want to stay relevant in my opinion. Scratch all the hits, and replace them with songs that fans can vote on, Metallica-style. 😉 Also, Nikki made me think of Nathan from South Park in this interview, looking everywhere but in the camera... 😃
Motley Crue are known for great riffs but this new song doesn't have that, it's forgettable imo, Mick Mars is a massive loss and I'm suspect about anyone who says different
No offense?! But? Its weird..Nikki? Wld do a interview w a channel W less than 500 subs. Do you know him?!(Not meaning to be offensive. just very VERY curious.. This?! Is a MAJOR score for the channel! Good job man!)
Mick was good. But he had to retire his body wasn't gonna let him keep doing it. John5 puts a great new sound to it. I love the crue always have always will.
The best album they ever put out was the one without Vince!!! The John Corabi album was great from beginning to end!!! Smoke the Sky was so heavy!! Great song.... Get rid of Vince and bring back Corabi!!
I think the new song is the type of song you hear once and forget about it. It sounds an awful lot like a post grundge song from the end of the 90's. Not original at all.
To be fair, the only original sounding album Crue ever released was their debut album. Nobody sounded like that and it was good. Then they went all hair metal
I the new song was good then everything would be great,,,,but omg its horrible cookie cutter crap. John is the best pick for taking that spot. BUT if the new songs are anything like dogs of war then holy shit i wish they would have stayed retired.
That’s yours and a lot of others opinion and that’s ok, I do love the original line up but times move on. John 5 has worked with Crüe in the past. I think John is a perfect choice.
@@chrisstaff5870 They had tried to kick out Mick for decades and gaslighted him into thinking that he couldn't play, when it was actually it was the rest of the band who don't even play their instruments anymore, and it was Mick who shredded like a god and had waaaay more talent than the rest of them together. Then they tried to take his royalties, after he gave them so many years in constant pain. Don't support these people who call them themselves Motley Crue
Have to admit, if they insist on carrying on, John 5 is a perfect choice. And he's a good guy. Mick's a legend and unfairly maligned, and regrettably in such frail health.
