@@fighter4166it's all kinda close anyway as an Eastern Slavic language. Like how Ukrainians claim the Russian language is too different, yet they're probably the two most similar languages to each other.
lmao that's just really stupid, you got Serbian and you got Russian, two different languages, just because they might look the same doesn't mean they are
The funny part is cabbage doesn't really have a plural version of the word in serbian "Kupus" is cabbage, and you would say "4 glavice kupusa" for example wich means "four heads of cabbage" "Kupusi" would never be used in our language
NOT GONNA LIE CJ AND NIKO ARE COLD GTA IV first mission: Welcome to America, You forget our launguage? GTA IV last mission: Welcome to America, Speak English. GTA SA first mission: See you around, Carl GTA SA last mission:See you around, Officer.
@@KillTheLux Rockstar hasn’t specified which ending is canon. The fact that we can see Roman has a “LifeInvader” page from Jimmy’s PC on GTA 5 is just an Easter Egg. Regardless, Deal ending makes much more sense when you think about it, because either you spare or kill Darko, Niko’s perception about revenge changes completely. Pegorino assures you that you won’t have to deal with Dimitri directly, and Roman is very ecstatic about the idea of Niko making the deal, telling him that they could even afford a private jet to Vice City if he makes it.
Isn't he supposed to be from the former Yugoslavia, just because Russian is a slavic language doesn't mean it's totally understandable to people who speak other slavic language.
@@viniciusnascimentomaeda6725 I was a kid when i first played GTA 4 and i was confused af when i heard a GTA character speaking Serbian, voice actor is not serbian but he did good job tbh
"After you walk into a village and find fifty children. All sitting neatly in a row against the church wall, Each with their throats cut and their hands chopped off, You realised that the creature that could do this dosent have a soul." -Niko bellic
Yeah im not serbian but i also was like this sounds very wierd. Russian on other hand in this game is pretty okay in some parts I unironically thought thay had native speakers doing the voices but then i will hear them fuck up but i was still like “good attempt nonetheless” but yeah serbian always sounded wierd in this game
Man i hated how they used Serbian in the game, most sentances are incorrect or have no meaning while the pronunciation is just horrible. Good game overall, just lazy translation.
He also says speak English and looks up, maybe just jumping the gun. But so Roman can hear and I believe Niko would truly believe Roman or many people that didn't do the things he beats himself up about would go to heaven.
