I live in San Francisco. Pretty decent Filipino community. Every time I go to a party hosted by a Filipino person Jollibee is always there front and center ready to be served. Fried chicken, spaghetti, and halo-halo for dessert.

Olivia seems really chill. Taken me awhile to get used to her, but always good to have a mix in the talking head dynamic where it’s not all dudes. I haven’t had Jollibee but I have a Filipino uncle and Filipino cousins, they are really cool and make amazing food (lumpia js god tier). One cousin was Miss *insert my state* a few years back and won Miss Congeniality in Miss USA so yeah they are some interesting family members- the “beauty pageant winner” is a nurse now and one of her brothers is in medical school to be a doctor. Another brother runs a champagne company and is an event coordinator. All that being said, I still think banana sauce spaghetti is really weird and I think that’s a staple of Jollibee’s. Also I’m like a half German and Norwegian descendant American with a little Cherokee and Irish/Welsh/French mixed in so I just wanted to state that Filipinos are really cool and I’m glad to have some in my family. Cause usually when people see me and my cousins out at a bar or something they think I’m full of shit when I tell them we’re related (I’m the guy in my display picture). They say, “like, by blood?” -uh, yeah. Can’t you tell?

as a filipino... i was so thrilled when they mentioned jollibee on the show!! it was weird, like two completely separate parts of my life meeting! lol Edit: it's not just chicken!
