How has he changed the NBA? Steph changed the NBA because he had everybody trying to shoot 3’s, I don’t see any bigs modeling their game after Jokic

The league definitely can't replicate Joker's basketball IQ and the way he can score at will, whilst always exploiting errors in the defence on EVERY possesion by dropping ridiculous dimes, directing traffic, crazy 3 point shots over guys like AD and Bron.

There wouldn't be anything special about the likes of Magic Johnson or Kidd, Nash, CP3 etc..if their type of basketball was the norm. On the other hand, it wouldn't be surprising to see more accurate 3 pts shots from centers. That would be a scary change. You can train players, centers in particular, to be better shooters. Then again, easier said than done. Here again, the reality is that there's only one Steph Curry. Sure, the entire league is way more focused on three points now, but only a few excel at it. Jokic is a very special case. He's like a combo of Magic and Chamberlain. And that's extremely rare.

Got rebuffed, league proly wasn't ready for him to equal MVP threepeats by the likes of Bird & Chamberlain... Its among the rarest achievements, with only 3 or 4 players having done it. Jordan, Lebron, Kobe didn't 3-peat! Especially since league is looking for a new "face of nba", like Morant, Williamson, Webanyana.

I dont deny he IS the best right now, otherwise I wouldnt be watching his highlights. But centers were just a different kind of beasts back in the days. The more recent Shaq, Yao, Duncan and Howard, all the way to relics like Kareem, Olajuwan, Mourning, Malone. The contacts were just much more intense. I bet even 2010 Ron Artest would give Jokic a hard time and he was not even a center.

Can pass like Pistol Pete, and Magic, strength in the paint like Wilt, playmaking like Stockton and Cousi, lifting his team from nothing to champions like a few. You need to look at his passing compared to some overhyped ones and bus numbers and records speak volumes. I think that is not the same doing all his stuff on a regular match or in an important match. The level of intensity and everything is way higher on a playoff so it is normal to the people to give more value to a play against a great opponent thant to a weak one. And besides that they are professionals and everything a person is not the same when playing a season match or a final/special match
