A good athlete will touch the top of the board but to jump that high, you need a longer preparation, deep squat, arms pulled back, and then the jump... Jokic barely leaps off the ground, but his jump doesnt take any preparation. Alongside his height, his huge arms reach, the 8 or so inched he manages to get off the ground, is just enough to scoop the ball at near-rim height, and its almost instantanious. Just look at the point where he made his offensive jump over Westbrook towards the end of the game, he tipped the ball to himself, and scored. All the vertical in the world meant jackshit to Russel at that time. God I love the Joker :)

That's because it literally doesn't matter where you are, you can position yourself anywhere around him you want and he'll still be doing whatever he wants.

Pošteno,samo to je Jugoslovenska škola...počelo sa dr.Nikolićem 50ih i 60ih,uspesi reprezentacije 70ih i 80ih.Imamo najbolje trenere na kontinentu koji su način na koji igramo košarku raširili po Evropi u 90im tako da je sada to evropski stil.Sada je on osvojio i NBA pa naši igrači dominiraju iako smo i ranije imali neverovatne igrače,da mi je neko rekao kao klincu koji tek upoznaje NBA pre 30god da ćemo imati više igrača koji su MVP favoriti ne bih verovao.Očekujem tek dominaciju od Pokuševskog i Jovića jer su kao stvoreni za današnji NBA

Jokic had a tough 1st half; especially the 1st quarter where he had 3 TO's back to back to back!

Maybe the first quarter give you that impression, but he played really well after 1st, even when he didn't score or assist he still helped his team get points with positioning, screens.. like every other game

Other than committing an unusual amount of turnovers in the 1st quarter he really showed his MVP prowess after the rough start

He had 38 points on 22 fgs + 7 tos + 5 going to the line = 34 possessions. 38 points on 34 possessions is about a little bit over 1.1 points per possession plus he had 6 assists. That's OK efficiency.

Great athlete, but is getting too old, and is on too low dosages of anabolics and HGH (compared to the peak of his career) to be able to match Jokics talents...

Drugo, Jokic ima u proseku 19,5 poena po utakmici i 6,2 asistencije, jel znash ti sledece 5 godina koliko treba da poludi da bi bio chak blizu do Lebrona u tom segmentu? Treba da daje u prosek 35 poena, 10 asistencije svaku sezonu i da igra sho veci broj utakmice. Njegove prve 2-3 sezoni su bilinslabiji i niko nije ga gledao kao zvezda i zato su mu negovi brojki slabiji, zato shto on nije od uvek imao ovoliko poena i assitencije u proseku, a da bi preshao Lebron mora od tvoju prvu sezonu da dominiras u ligi. Definitivno po meni jedini igrac koji vidim da ce imati nekakve sanse to da uradi je Luka Doncic. Ali mislim da chak ni on nece zavrshiti karieru sa vecim broj poena od Lebrona, ali moze da ima vishe asistencije i vishe skokova zato shto lik vec prvih 4 sezona ima u proseku mnogo vishe skokova i asistencije za razliku od Lebrona.

Ne skače, ne zakucava, ne leti po terenu, manje su šanse za povredu, samo fundamentalna košarka i skil. Novicki se penzionisao u 40oj godini, sa potpuno istim stilom igre. Znači Jokić ima još 12 sezona u NBA bez većih problema ako bude zdrav, a ne vidim zašto ne bi bio. Kad bude stariji više će se oslanjati na šut, a čak i sad poludistanca mu je fenomenalna.

A vec sam ti rekao, u jedno intervju je pomenuo da kad oseti da chak 1% je slabiji od to shto je bio i da nije u stanju da daje 100% od sebe, ostavice kosharku, a i kosharka mu nije njegov nqjveci priroitet, on voli konji chak i vise od kosharku, kada je bio pitan koji su mu najveci uspesi koji je dozhiveo rekao je prvo kad je osvoio neko takmicenje sa konjima🤣🤣🤣, onda Olimpijadu ili Svetsko sa reprezentacijom, ne mogu da se setim, i lik nije ni pomenuo MVP.

AD was alongside RW the best Lakers player in the game. They were both great, but the team is old, they lost gas towards the end, and they didnt have 3pt shooter ( only 6 made threes, out of 20). Its not AD's fault he came across the most dominant player in the world.

His turnovers are up because he handles the ball more than anyone on his team. Constantly handling or involved in offense. Increased turnovers are a function of ball touches/possessions.
