It's wild watching him play. Kinda like he's on auto pilot and it's all muscle memory or some shit. The way he reacts to different situations so smooth
Class of his own. Shares the ball with unselfish vision. Relentless on the boards. Footwork on offensive, unreal. This man deserves a third MVP trophy. The coach, team and city of Denver embraces his dedication with a NBA Championship.
He has to share the ball, he's the centerpiece of their entire team. When he isn't on the court they can't do anything. They need him to do all the work creating.
@@KelGhu of you mean he's first, yes... But so far there are 4 players over the 32.8 all time record the joker scores last year, all of them over 34, Luka, AD, Embiid, and the Joker too... Obviously the season is getting harder and harder, so none of them would take this efficiency to the playoff, it's just a fun fact
The only people who don't like him are Philly fans I swear. Dude is humble, devoted, plays the game the right way with his teammates, not flashy or cocky, just goes out there and hoops. Yet they still wanna hate, I don't get it.
@@dewman7477 and non-Americans. If you were going to bring up Americans distaste for Jokic, it would make more sense to comment on how many Americans (as are many people of every country) are xenophobic. Plenty of people dismiss Jokic simply because he is not an American. That’s a much more widespread and meaningful point than to focus on “Americans who like flashy dunks and athleticism”. It makes YOU seem like you’re xenophobic. Lol.
Most stats would imply he is the best al around player ever. If you take out the "jaw dropping athleticism" aspect, and the "collection of stars who won trophies" aspect, it's tough to say anyone is definitely a better overall player than Jokic these past 3 seasons, ever. If you just put him on the Bucks swapped with Giannis those teams are probably the champs the last 3 years running.
He needs rings 80s Magic,Bird,Thomas 90s MJ, Hakeem 00s Bryant,Duncan, Shaq 10s James,Steph, Durant 20s noone has multiple rings so far.Jokic need at least two of them
@@bojanmilenkovic2043 More to the game than rings. I hate CP3, but I’ve been watching basketball for 30 years. Are you really going to tell me the best pure point guard I’ve seen in 3 decades doesn’t matter because he doesn’t have a ring? Are you really taking Chauncey Billups or Sam Cassell over him because they got a chip? Fuck rings culture. It’s a joke.
He is the synonym for MVP. If you could ask, in basketball history, how the MVP player should play, you would put Jokic. Someone is assister, someone scorer, someone jumper, someone can shoot 3s, someone is good at this or that..he is fenomenal at everything..i think no other guy made his team and teammates play so better.
This season is proof of how valuable Jokic was last season. Great vid, great selection of music. Two pieces of art at the same time is always a good thing.
uncle jeff doing good too. basically jokic ability to pass combined with dunkers team (green, gordon, brown, murray, MPJ and KCP can dunk too) is awesome
easily lol hes bout to win his 3rd straight mvp and if he gets a couple rings hes top 10 all time for sureee and the greatest offensive center ever. hes a fat sloppy looking white man yet hes better than big ol buff black men like embiid and even shaq tbh
@@joemarshall4226no lol. put jokic against larrys competiton and hes averaging 40/15/10. look at the stats. the fastest team in the 80s is slower than the slowest team today. and they didnt even workout with weights
The thing I like about him is that he's a team player. You don't see that as much in modern ball. Everyone is obsessed with padding their stats. He's an assist legend and he STILL has great personal stats. His passing reminds me of Bird and Magic Johnson.
To pair Jokic and AG was a genius move. Green, Brown, Bones and Braun seem like they're having a time of their life. Nnaji and Cancar can make a difference. KCP is consistently awesome. If Murray and MPJ are healthy and they play for the team, the sky is the limit.
True that, I think the only thing missing is a better coach. The AG move was amazing, it didnt show so much last season because he wasnt used to playing to with Jokic but now, the AG cut under the basket is unstoppable
@@japiro14 Starting to agree about Malone, I think he may have reached his ceiling. He deserves all the credit in the world for deciding to start Jokic and bench Nurkic. And even before that he had shown he was way better than Brian Shaw. But he trusts the old vets a little too much at the expense of younger, more athletic players who I think could contribute, like Najii and Cancar. And he constantly chirps about being a defensive coach, but the defense isn't very good, even with Brown and KCP. Doesn't matter though, Jokic seems to really like him so I don't think he's going anywhere.
@@3steban427 yeah I think we don't actually see how bad he is because he has jokic on his team. This guy should be winning like the 00 spurs with Duncan.
Nuggets are deep offensively, but have no defensive depth. This may be ok during the regular season, but not in playoffs. Denver needs a dedicated perimeter defender; someone like Jae Crowder or Jrue Holiday or Marcus Smart or even PJ Tucker. They could trade MPJ & Green to free up cap space to sign a capable defender.
yesterday I bought the League pass as a present for myself, and my god, first game vs. Portland was incredible, Denver is awesome too watch, and all the team is fully Jokered , even when he's on the bench they played that way of basketball
Whats even crazier is the fact that Joker whos one of the best basketball players to ever come from Serbia if not the best but there is a list of insanely good players who have made it to the NBA and excelled from a country of 7 million people... New york has like what 8.5 mill people just let that sink in!
Well we suffered so many genocides, and we had much much bigger territory in antiquity. 25 Roman emperors were Serbs, but our history is forged and rewritten, so you don't know, but I know as a Serb. We've always been the greatest warriors, which Jokic and Djokovic prove. The genes never lie
Jokic plays basketball with an elite soccer player's mindset, especially his touch passes. He moves the ball and never just needlessly dribbles in place. All about movement and touch.
He has the fundamentals and the capability to read the game a lil step before others do. Probbably he is smarter than others at that point, which has to do the amount of oxigen in your brain in the game, wich means he is athletyc enough, but to me not so much in defence.
Probably one of the most cerebral players out there (if not ever). The way he thinks quickly on the fly and adapts to various situations and how well he reads the game, out of this world. Sometimes I think he has eyes everywhere on his body, that's how good his overview of the game is and his feel for player positions.
Underrated tough shot making skills. Sometimes he just flips it towards the basket while running full speed and it magically finds its way into the net.
I remember in the 2016 Olympics Serbia played against USA and he was taking Cousins, Durant, and Jordan to school! And I was like damn he’s on my Nuggets lol I never thought he would be this really good 🃏
Not really. People are somehow still debating if he's the best passing big man of all time. It's like, we've moved past that already, the question now is if he's the best passer of all time, period.
@@mazzabazza2014 😂😂😂. Giannis ? He has nothing to offer. His basketball is one dimensional, based on running 'n' dunkin'. That's all what he does. He scores mainly at the rim, not from the field. He even has a low pct of ft line. Giannis is better athlete, but everything else is for Joker
It would be great but i think Nikola can't win it with Denver. He could win West Conference maybe but and that's a for discuss beacuse of current form of Pelicans And Memphis.
I can see him getting conference championship and going to the Finals, but I dont think he can get a ring with Nuggets. However, I hope he gets at least one ring at one point in his career, he deserves it the most.
we should call him the Punisher , he punishes any likkle mistake from his adversaries with an assist, he's got an incredible timing, or with a 3 or a move wow some things i saw in this video i have never seen in my life from others, this is beauty
I would give 10 years of my life to see Jokic and Doncic in the same team with a couple of solid teammates for a couple of seasons, what a pleasure that would be + add Giannis to that hehe ( : Just imagine, phewww!
@5:02 That move was so good, everyone was stuck trying to figure out if the move was legal, how they just got cooked, and who dropped their assignment.
Jokic is #1 in PER, #1 in Win shares, #1 in WS/48, #2 in VORP (with 3.5, behind Luka at 3.6 and ahead of Durant in 3rd at... 2.7). Jokic is in the driver's seat for MVP so far, and it isn't close.
I played with a giant that could pass that hard and on point... every time he would pass the ball felt like a fkn torpedo blowing up in yr hands. Once the team got used to that power it elevates the game for the whole team. Jokic does that shit on a superb level, amazing
there are occasions where he is making an individual move and then JUST before he commits he will see an easier shot develop and drop the dime. the only other guy I've ever seen do it like that was Larry Bird. I mean you always knew Steve Nash wanted to pass and Magic was the best ever in transition but Jokic and Bird are the only guys I've ever seen who have this rubbery effect on offense. the other remarkable thing about his game is that he shows the rest of the league that this style of ball is available to anyone if they understand a team concept. I remember Bird making it look easy - like he was toying with the rest of the league. Occasionally Bird would just do something outrageous because he knew nobody was going to stop him. The NBA is Jokic' league right now. Not Giannis, not Tatum, not Doncic, not Embiid, not Anthony Davis, not Ja, not Zion but NIKOLA JOKIC.
This guy should go back to back to back I mean look at the stats and only in 33 minutes so underrated guys like kcp mpj Jamal Bruce brown can get buckets and btw if you think luka they have a losing record and only two players ever have won mvp that weren’t a top 3 team one made history by the most points attributed beating wilt and the other average a triple double and they were top 7 teams not to mention he is the definition of valueble
When I think that he has exhausted all his resources and is going to go downhill, Jokic makes some new "nonsense" and denies me. The guy is playing, not playing, but playing with, basketball. It's just amazing what he does. I think Charles Barkley said, "While others jump over the Empire State Building to make a basket, Jokic goes through the Empire State Building and makes a basket! An imperial and precise description of Jokic's philosophy of the game
