There Will NEVER Be ANYONE Like Nikola Jokic AGAIN…

Nikola Jokic's 2nd MVP season can only be described as one of the greatest seasons in NBA history from one of the greatest players in NBA history. Without his 2 best teammates, Jokic put the team on his back and carried them to a near 50 win season as the teams best scorer, playmaker, rebounder and just overall GUY. Its a season that shouldn't be forgotten anytime soon and that's why I had to make a full video on it.

Of all the highlights watched... only critique with this phenom are two: one: should've taken shots team mate passed to him, an assist from t'mate. two: be more dominating, like dunk it, like Joel, fans love that, it's exciting. But, it's TRUE that's not his game,,, soft touches & passes is his game.

It's because he's white and there was another option in embid that had a good case. Personally I think he deserved it. B4 anyone claims "great white hope" lol I'm Puerto Rican lol it's just an observation I've made when it comes to white MVPs. They were saying he needed to do more against GS last playoffs without Murray and mpj while he was averaging like 34 11 and 11 😂. Like why are we holding him to such a high standard? Other guys get plenty of excuses for not winning. Not having your two co stars lol is a good enough reason for losing to the eventual champs lol. I made this original comment 8 months ago....lol look who in the finals now lol I been saying this boy is nice. He legit was robbed of the MVP too because of being (white) lol my comment aged like fine wine thanks to Mr Kendrick Perkins 😂

He's the poster child for un-athletic, uber skilled players. Luka is younger and more flashy so everyone gravitates towards him. I like Jokic because literally any kid in the world could pick up a basketball and if they practice hard enough and study the game they could be like Jokic, it helps that's he's 7ft tall but outside of that advantage, everything he does is fundamentals. Anyone can throw the ball across the court if they understand sets and how to use misdirection with their eyes/body.

It's actually crazy how much jokic gets clowned and criticized for losing in the 1st round despite not having porter jr or jamal. His 2nd best player being monte Morris who was decent but ur not winning against a warriors team that is much better also Gordon was horrible. People bring up how jokic won the mvp as the 6th seed but same people who say Kobe should've won mvp in 06 when he was a 6th seed and less wins also no one criticizes russ for his 2017 mvp due to low seeding

You did a wonderful job explaining to the people who is watching basketball trough dunks, blocks and twitter involvement, quite literally. But only true basketball fans like Jokic because he's we can now say after the long time, after Tim Duncan that he's Mr Fundamental, with better vision of the game, better passing and improving defense every season. Not to mention that how he's quietly braking record after record. It would be interesting to complie the video about all the records that Jokic holds, and one thing is that no one is understanding is the fact that he had to fight for his place in the team, then for the minutes, he wasn't got keys of the team like Embiid or Towns did, he had to clime up and after couple of seasons then the Nuggets decided to build around the Nikola, so just now when he is entered into the his prime, the team is constructed around him and even if the Nuggets doesn't get the title this season, we will see fruits of the drafting the players who actually suit his game for the first time and we will need season or two to see all that. Even now the Nuggets have a big chance of winning the championship but the depth will be in the next few seasons and the Warriors showed everyone that how depth is important, for example Bjelica, last man in their rotation, without him they wouldn't win the championship for example, who claim differently have no idea of of the game of basketball. Keep it up Edit : please do a video how Nuggets decided to change everything around the Joker, all 3 draftees are defensive minded players, Bruce Brown and KCP both 3 and D + both are very good cutters + brown enjoy making blocks (screens) for others and that's one of the most efficient plays in the Nuggets for example .

I am a huge Tim Duncan fan, but Jokic is way better: ok, less for D, but so much better on offense; so varied in his approach that he is unstoppable. We watched the games this year. At the end of the game, the Nuggets worked through Jokic (not through a shot-chucker). Time and again he came through. Did Timmy ever do that? TD is ranked by most at 7-10 all-time. Jokic, inch allah, should go beyond that.

@@louismichael6843 tbh, as a defender it's a tough shot to contest without fouling. I'm sure Giannis has seen him do that move a bunch of times and even watched some film on it. But in the moment, you can't contest it from the left side without going across his body, which would inevitably result in a foul. So I'm sure he knew it was coming but sometimes there's just nothing you can do about it. It's like the Dirk fade, or Tim Duncan's turnaround (where he hooks you in the mid-section). It's not that you can't react, but if the set up is done right then there's no point in contesting because it's a bait for a foul. That's just how good Jokic is. Great Defense, better Offense.

His highlight reels rank alongside the greats. He does what few players are capable of, endlessly. He's like Nash and Dirk in one but that doesn't cover it. Maybe a third MVP will shut the fools up. haven't been this excited for a season in 15 years. Can't wait to watch every minute he plays.

exactly bro, he is the best Nugget player EVER, and one of the best EVER to play NBA, sad to see many blind people but that is their loss, we who have eyes can enjoy watching him. Nuggets fan since Jokic is playing there cuz I am Serbian. Me and 2 other my friends watched his every game before he was even close to being called all-star, we saw already that he is very special and we knew he will be one of best, back in time amount of disrespect by refs was insane, now is slightly better but still awful compared to what they give to Embiid and other "stars". I hope they will finish 1st seed and Jokic gets 3rd MVP in a row. I am worried about MPJ (even when fully healthy he wasn't consistent, very overrated) and Jamal (also not very consistent and a bit overrated) but still, they are for sure better than Farton (finally he left!) and other piles of trees and bricklayers of teammates. I hope they can manage to win it all!

And now imagine a hybrid basketball player who has a much more accurate hand than Hakeem or Duncan, a more accurate midrange than Dirk or Durant and a brain like Magic Johnson, madness!!! Last 2 years Jokic played better basketball than 99,99% players ever except Jordan, Lebron, Magic, Kobe, Bird and Steph from 2015-2018( and even that is debatable)... That is it. Many people, and in my opinion rightly so, want an MVP that looks, for lack of better words, "awesome". I just don't see that with Jokic. Masterpiece right here you made! The Jazz was a perfect fit for his smooth play style. This will be the year the Nuggets make it to the Finals I can feel. With Murray back and Pope signing at least healthty we will get to the CFC but if Bones can be the sixth man off the bench like we know he is capable of? Then watch out. Oh and by the way, after watching the World Cup and Jokic playing with Serbia, he is no joke in better shape than last year. Like he is dunking at will now...ask Giannis! Greece looked silly with Jokic leading his boys. That is the other thing, he has the "it-factor" that tends to make others play better around him. A few years back Will Barton was playing great! Not sure what happened to him but my guess is it will be hard for him to out-do his performance from a few years ago with Jokic leading the Nuggets. Great analysis!
