Jokic definitely puts in work in the offseason. He has way too much touch this early in the season for him to have been only in the weight room. Dude just doesn't like to talk about it.

Don't mistake Jokic's humble self depreciation literally. National media takes 1 line out of his media day when he sarcastically answered a question saying he didn't do anything or touch a ball all summer and runs with the narrative. When clearly Jokic's mannerisms and the twinkle in his eyes indicated he was joking and downplaying his work ethic in the summer. Did you hear what he said?? He didn't MISS A DAY. Sometimes efficiency numbers HIDE a low impact on the game. So you got 10 -14 points off of fast breaks or early offense. So what. Did you post up and slow the game down and get quality possessions? 20 points is 5 points a quarter. Yes Lebron can find a way to do that. Team needed more than that tonight ESPECIALLY when you see AD not brining it offensively in the 2nd half. Doesn't have to be hero ball either...
