It is actually very sexy. Just look at the assist to Brown. As soon as they attempted to double him, they conceded an open 3. Players' instincts make them help Jokic's defender, but it is actually a very bad call. If you watch closely, Jokic exposes how bad the opponents do in the defense.

The genius of Jokic is that he sets up around the top of the key, which draws out the opposing big. This leaves the opponent vulnerable to drives up the lane or backdoor cuts. On the other hand, opponents don't respect Draymond Green's outside shooting, so players like Anthony Davis stays under the basket and that makes it hard to drive for layups. Jokic attracts attention and that opens up space for his teammates to exploit.

Naah.. sports naturally reaches a threshold (the human limit). Top sports medicine, PEDs, etc.. the NBA physicality peaked in the 80s. In 2080 there will be no player stronger or faster than Jordan, LeBron, Giannis, Shaq, etc.. there will be similar athletes, but the pinnacle was achieved a long time ago

@@RRRRRRRRR33 Not to mention even "IF" there is.... (Zion Williamson comes to mind) it's not necessarily a good thing. That is, if one actually cares about a player's longevity. There's certain types of physics that work for basketball. while others not so much and you'll end up with an injury prone players. It worked with Shaq (he was quite heavy) because he had the size and bone structure for it. Zion for instance is way too big for his size. His mass may be suited for MMA or football but not basketball.

@@clasifi1 Different body types will be a thing, Giannis is already a classic example, his body is just weird... but it works. And Anthony Davis is kinda similar to Giannis, but he get injured constantly. I guess in the future there will be players that could be even larger than Shaq, more length than Giannis, etc.. but the overall speed and strength will not be that much different. Comparing LeBron with Jordan for example, the jumping power, the speed, reaction time, etc... there's not much difference, it's not like Jordan was way faster than LeBron or vice versa. The skill level will be dependent of the rules, the 90s benefited 1v1, nowadays it benefits playmaking, etc.. Jokic reading the defense compared to Olajuwon dancing around Robinson, the level of skill to perform these kind of plays are similar. So like I said, I don't think basketball has more room to grown as a sport, the only aspect that limit the level of play in the NBA (literally the only professional league that planet) that are the rules and the management from the top, also the drafting process... the talent will remain pretty much steady, also the scouting will get better (slowly)
