Did you not see how Morris head snapped back. Jokic was prepared for contact. Jokic hit an unprepared person from behind in their back, at full force. The fine and suspension will be significant. It would be different if it were a flagrant in the course of protecting the rim or some other nonsense. Jokic did not have the ball.

Although I have no problem with what Jokic did, I hate hearing him say he was "defending himself". This was more standing up for his manhood and maybe a little overreaction (in hindsight). I also think if Jimmy Butler was the Miami player that hit Jokic, he would not have knocked Jimmy to the floor in retaliation. Morris has a reputation and this was probably a build up for Jokic through this game and others. Lesson learned for Morris.
