@@richardsandor9506 "An earlier version of Nikon's press release stated that the Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S lens was parfocal. This is not the case, however Nikon states that the lens offers "reduced focus beathing." We have updated the text below to fix www.imaging-resource.com/lenses/nikon/z-70-200mm-f2.8-vr-s-nikkor/review/
I took 7,000 photos with mine hand held in the first 24 hours after I got it, and I'm now in bed after my back has gone out. Note that it's heavier than the 300 2.8, but this new lens takes teleconverters VERY well, so you can get up to 600mm.
@@gregoryrogalsky6937 Thank you. My back is hurting in 2 places where it hasn't before. But I've now got time to sort through 7,000 photos from the lens with my D6.
Marcel Barriel too long have us photographers been pigeon holed into shooting wide to far. Finally, we can shoot far to wide. Imagine all those new possibilities.
Too bad they are not fully compatible with Sony E-mounts. Canon and Nikon are surly in trouble with Sony and many people are now using cell phone. 2020 Olympics will be cancelled.
Yea I’m mad that Nikon doesn’t make Sony-E mount compatible lenses too! What jerks they are to only make lenses that fit they’re cameras. That’s why I love Sony-E mount it works on Canons, telescopes, car backup cams, the list goes on. I can’t wait to see all those Olympic athletes shot on the next iPhones also!
@@goingfurther8092 Why would any camera manufacturer bothers to develop their lenses to be used on another brand, or develop their camera to be used with other camera manufacturer lenses? They (such as Nikon) develop their lenses to be fully compatible and produce the best quality possible for their cameras, the same thing that Canon Sony or other brand does exception for lens-focused manufacturer such as sigma and tamron. The title itself said it is a nikon lens and of course they designed it proprietary for themselve not to be used with Sony cameras. Even only third-party manufacturers offer mount cross-platform lens adapter mount product such as EF to E mount or M mount to EF, not the main camera manufacturer. Your argument is pointless, if you want to use a nikon lens then buy a camera that uses that lens, may it be F or Z mount. If you want to shoot on telescope, then you may well buy a Canon with their astro camera lineup and adapter compatibility. If you already buy a Sony camera with E mount, then its your responsibility to commit using that mount or adapters available for that mount. Not blaming other brand that designed their own cameras and lenses for not making compatible lenses for your need, using another brand of camera. Oh yea, im pretty sure pro shooters gonna use iPhones for the next olympics, and all dslrs and mirrorless cameras will be useless in the next 5 years dont you think? :/ *i am both nikon and sony shooter and im fully aware of their compatibility
