Nikon 80-200 2.8 Autofocus Problem 

Hi, I have a question, I have the same lens and my D500 doesn't read the ring to give it that Autofocus. From what I'm told is it's because is a Japanese version. Any recommendations on what to do?

I have this same issue. It has that same cracking sound when focusing.

Yeah looks like the post office for sure. We'll fix this situation, maybe you can still keep the lens to use as a manual focus lens.
