One of my Nikon F3s have been stuck for a while. Neither the film advance would move nor the shutter fire. I couldn't find any solution online but I managed to fix it by comparing it to my working F3. This is one possible solution to this problem, it might not always solve a stuck F3. If your camera has this problem consider getting it serviced.
