Howzit guys!
here are my thoughts between the older F mount 14-24mm lens and the new Z mount 14-24mm lens, both Nikon glass and both f2.8, only difference being the one is mirrorless glass and the other DSLR glass.
the old 14-24mm is built like a tank and almost every Nikon photographer out there will confirm that, BUT!! Nikon took everything that was awesome and now made it EPIC!!
the Z mount is lighter, faster, and way more quiet when shooting video plus the added bonus of it being ULTRA sharp!!
on the F mount i saw some distortion on the edges of the photos and less of that on the Z mount.
Both are Weather sealed and technically both are great lenses, I would recommend shooting the Z mount on the Z systems and the F mount on the older systems although if you do have the FTZ adapter you can still use the F mount and have amazing results!
