I fell in love with the Nikon Z fc camera when I bought it with the 28mm f/2.8 lens. I got a really good price this weekend. I'll try this lens for astrophotography 😅. It's equivalent to 42mm. Thank you, Chris, for such an amazing video.

Wish I had watched this when I first got the camera. I bought it as a walk-around, mainly using my pro cameras. But when my fav pro camera broke (sold it for parts), I decided to use the Zfc for a trip to Italy. Really learned a lot from Chris. Good thing is that I still have my pro lenses and the FTZ adapter. I just purchased this wonderful camera and I get confused with Aperature and ISO, I like to think that one day, understanding how to navigate my camera's settings for specific situations will come naturally. Thank you outstanding video. I have a Nikon D3500 but I was looking for a compact mirrorless camera for my next trip to Portugal and Spain. This camera fits my needs. I’m not a professional but learning. I like city street photography,scenic and human/pets photos and love the retro looks on this camera 📷 so I’m looking forward to use it a lot!
About night time focusing its such a shame modern camera lens's infinity setting is almost always off on every single lens. On my old manual nikon lenses I simply swing to infinity and shoot. Crisp clear pictures always.
Caution! I recently downloaded firmware for the Zfc from Nikon. When I hit the upload, the camera shut itself down and would not restart. Nikon support told me it would have to be sent to a service center. I mailed it, at my expense. After a week, I got an estimate for repair. Almost $ 300.00. This camera was just over one year old, purchased directly from Nikon and had less than 1,000 actuations. The camera worked perfectly until I tried to upload the firmware. Note - I own over two dozen Nikon cameras including four Z series and I am very familiar with the update procedure. Has anyone else had this problem?
