Many of the heating problems are user-induced such as selecting CFExpress cards that run hot or trying to use a hybrid camera as the ultimate video camera. It’s not a full-on video camera. The best thing is to learn the video tolerances of the camera and work within those or get a full video camera that meets your requirements. Additionally, this is not a Nikon-specific issue. Sony and Canon have had heating issues as well.
