I never found any interest in the Slaters but yeah, I agree that Grant leaving in 1999 was a shame because he missed out on some good years.

Exactly I’ve been saying this for such a long time I’m glad somebody else is saying the same thing because Grant left and was out of it for so long there is so much that he could’ve got involved in had he either not left or if he’d come back on a more frequent basis. So much further potential was wasted due to him not being around

Grant could of met max Branning too but max did mention grant to Phil once saying go and stay with his brother . Through the whole time the grant has been associated with EastEnders from 1990 to the present day during that 33 year period he’s been out of it a lot longer than he’s been on it 1990-1999 2005 (3weeks) 2006 (3 to 4 months ) 2016 (12 episodes)
