Wait man, that was the same case with 2.11, the comunity didn't know how to use editor still, ok thats happening now, comunity is experiencing with that one and knowing to use it v:
This is the perfect nine circles level because they didn’t care/forgot about the ending cube section and just replaced it with a single triple spike that’s just so awesome (derogatory)
I get what you're trying to say, but many other NC levels also forgot the cube. This one though, has the audacity to say "I didn't forget it, I just don't give a fuck" also what are those effects
perfect example of what 2.2 levels shouldnt be edit: a lot of comments don't seem to get the point. i don't care if the level looks cool (which is subjective mind you, this could just look like bad effect spam to someone else) what i think matters is that the gameplay is actively being ruined because the effects are so over the top that actually playing the level would be HELL. the sightreadability is being thrown out the window just for a cool effect level which i think ruins it ive also seen ppl bring up that this level is one that is better watched than played, and to that i agree, but in that case... why not just make the level auto, so that it can FOCUS on being watched rather than the player having to worry about actually playing it?
This level would genuinely be so much cooler without some of the effects. The looping invert color filter, the constantly rotating camera and the excessive use of the time warp trigger in spots that make no sense to have it kind of take away from what I think would be a killer level otherwise. The block design is actually rad for the wave portion and doesn’t rely on being overly flashy like most NC levels do, the use of dual gameplay provides a lot of variety in a genre riddled with the same wave gameplay tropes and the level has a nice sense of progression in both its gameplay and block design. Maybe there’ll be an update to improve on the level by removing the excessive use of 2.2 triggers.
ik ik ... like bro they be spamming triggers and unplayable ahh gameplay and blind stuff and just call it 2.2 gameplay 💀robtop tried so hard to make dash sightreadable and fun @@KhalidTheBeeKeeper
The only things I don't like about this level is how it's completely unreadable and there are too many invert color triggers, but I love the parallax background
I get the triggers concern, but what’s wrong with it being unreadable? It just makes it like a different version of a memory level, like in my opinion beating this would feel soooooo satisfying, way more satisfying than a memory level that’s all memorizing fakes and shit but without cool new gameplay I definitely hope all demons are not like this, but I don’t see an issue if some of them are
@@Huntamin77maybe cause with a 2.1 memory level you can still somewhat see where the player is, but with stuff like this you’re constantly adjusting where you’re looking
@@Jarran2R Yeah maybe, that is definitely a good point. There is a fundamental difference in how the game is played. I think it could be a cool unique memory challenge, but I could see how people wouldn’t want to get used to the unfixed nature of the player icon.
@@Huntamin77coz theres a difference between a memory level where you can tell what you have to remember is visible and a memory level where what you're trying to remember isnt visible at all
@@Naismer1 lmao no, the effects are annoying, most of the duals ain't even readable, this levels can't make you actually try to practice it, it's all memory boring gameplay and they didn't even make the final cube for a NC level, difficulty made by effects and triggers and no for good gameplay, that kills the creativity and interest
@@Protectorofgodit’s still a level. That people have had the dishonour of playing and realising: wow this gameplay is fucking dogshit. Uploading a level whether is a “showcase level” or not doesn’t change anything. Just because it’s a showcase doesn’t mean it’s exempt from criticism.
i don't care what anyone else says, i love this level. i probably won't ever be able to beat it, but it's still amazing. the camera movements go perfectly with the song
for all the people complaining about this level: this isnt supposed to be taken super seriously. this isnt some new crazy standard thats being set for all levels. clearly someone just went in the editor and thought "lets see what wild shit im able to make with 2.2 features" and theres nothing wrong with that. its just a fun test to see whats possible that wasnt possible before. obviously its shit to play, just dont play it. i think its still super interesting to see what can be created
I know this looks cool now but people did this exact sort of "experimentation" back in 2.0 and it lead us to the most widely hated era of Geometry Dash ever. Can we at least think of the short term future when creating levels?
I like how the hallucination is one of the best levels ever and seems to be universally liked even though its literallt memory and extreme and epileptic and full of effects.
worst comparison on the planet. at least you can see what's happening in the hallucination. it's not that much memory either. nor are there that many effects. and, uh, durrr, it's epileptic...it's a nine circles level. what's the hallmark of a nine circles? epileptic flashing. the hallucination's effects and clicks also have *context* which is extremely important in making a good level. this level has very little context to both its clicks and its effects, like the random timewarps and random split duals. its gameplay also doesn't suck utter ass.
@@roseflows6585 I would bet a million dollars if you showed the hallucination to a 1.9 player they would not have a clue in hell what is going on. Even an early 2.1 player would be confused out of his mind. Of course it takes practice to learn a level and get used to it. People complained about the original nine circles being epileptic when it came out. Also for a demon like this nobody is sightreading it anyways if it was a 6 star you might have a point. So yeah nice try trying to sound big brained but you're full of crap.
@@gdsupreme5040And I bet a million dollars you score an 85 on an IQ test. I didn't say a 1.9 player would understand it. It's a LATE 2.1 level, which means players have had the time to learn it, and furthermore, it's meant to be a top demon, not an easy level. So your point of "Nobody sightreading it, 6 star" bullshit, is just that, bullshit. Even further, if it weren't still confusing today, do you think it would be a top level? No. That's the point. The difference is it doesn't suck ass to learn. Now, let's prove you an idiot. What makes a good level? Sync. Context. Balance. Decoration. Does it Sync? The Hallucination does, and it does it incredibly. This level? Barely. The effects used in it don't sync to anything at all. Does the decoration follow context? The Hallucination does. This does not. There is so much random ass bullshit in this level. Further on this point, my boy who don't play Geometry Dash and hasn't played it since 1.6, understood what was going on in the Hallucination really well, could point out each click, and commented that the sync was phenomenal. Does it have good balance? The hallucination' difficulty is consistent. This level is EXTREMELY inconsistent. Some parts are 2* and some parts want to be Zodiac. Is the decoration good? The Hallucination's is really good, even if some parts could use work. This level is alright. Extremely rough around the edges. I've been playing since 1.2. I don't care about your opinion because as an aged veteran, mine means a lot more. Nice try coming in here to try to prove someone wrong, or ruin their opinion, or just insult them, or sound like yourself have a big brain, but all you really did, was ended up clowning yourself and showing off just how few folds there are in your grey matter. Get over your superiority complex.
@@gdsupreme5040 This comment is not exactly in the context of your example, but... the key aspect is that levels with shit gameplay from early 2.0 are still shit to this day. People getting used to the new stuff didn't change a thing or made the gameplay any better. The same is happening now. Nine rifts has shit gameplay now, and it will remain shit no matter how much time passes.
Certainly a visually stunning Nine Circles level, with some interesting gameplay concepts added on top. The visual and camera panning effects can make it frustrating to play due to rendering the level as having several memorization parts. I believe the inverted color effect is fine, as it occurs throughout the level. Although the other parts may need adjustments according to the player response. Haven't played it myself, so I'm not sure how much the effects strip the enjoyment out of the level.
A Nine Circles level with 2.2 effects looks pretty cool, but I feel like it would be a lot better without some of the pulsing effects that made your wave unreadable. I get it that its hard to see obstacles in Nine Circles levels, but not seeing your own wave is on another level💀 This feels like when 2.0 first dropped and people tried blending the new triggers in ways that either made a mess, or just look like Roptop style level without identity of their own, and in this case, the only good 2.2 levels so far are ones that use the typical new pixel style (not having their own identity/uniqueness). I would like to see how levels will look like when people start getting used to the new 2.2 triggers though, but as of rn, it seems as though Platformer levels are the only things making the best of the update.
