I'm so, so, SO grateful Trent didn't go the way of so many unbelievably talented musicians who have died (recently) from drug-related BS. Not only did he NOT die, he came back ripped AF, dropping hard NIN tracks, composing OSTs for movies, and starting HDA with his new wife. This is a man we should all emulate. A quiet professional who cares about the quality of everything he does.
and i played bass and went to jazz school for a while, but harmonys and melodys are nothing compared to a solid tempo rythm by a drummer. drummer makes a band and i agree.
Am I part of the 1% who came here because I love Nine Inch Nails? Personally, NIN is one of the few musical acts still around aging like wine. I've seen Trent three times now, and every show has been unique and wonderful.
This video was randomly recommended to me after I watched a few other NIN concert videos (Came Back Haunted and Discipline are two songs I frequently listen to on RU-vid)
I was at this show. I have been to many concerts in my years,from Iron Maiden to Ozzy to Megadeth….this performance from NIN was the best show I have ever seen…it felt like the music was going thru my body…cell by cell…but I also did a little bit of shrooms and a few hits of some good weed before going in. This is one I will always remember.
The song really is very nice! Gives me hella energetic vibes, I left comments about how I discovered this song because of Louis Tomlinson and that I'm grateful for it! :) Huge appreciation and respect towards nine inch nails!
I can't imagine being at this absolutely legendary concert, this is history. This live performance of so many great songs off of hesitation marks is just phenomenal. Trent was in the zone and killed it.
I've never been a huge NIN fan (and I love industrial music), but you have to admit right here: the way they do the lighting combined with smoke/fog (and it's SO FUCKING MINIMAL in this clip) is genius. It's the opposite of what Rammstein would do, and again, I LOVE how Rammstein does their live shows. I know a folk bass player (from a known band)(not going to name drop here) who saw this tour and he loved it. That says something about the quality of the live experience.
You should have seen the 2008 tour "Lights in the Sky" - an LED lighted scrim around the stage. They played all the tracks they had created pre-The Social Network and did a free downloadable double album of like music (many tracks which informed future movie work with Atticus Ross). Truly an unbelievable time to have seen them.
For a long time, i didn't like anything that happened after With Teeth. I'm starting to come around tho, i really like copy of a, came back haunted, and i was kind of digging the bad witch ep and the add violence one as well

I don't know why many people on here are furious, I thought music was for everyone. Is it difficult to be respectful towards each other and their favs? Actually, Louis is a Solo Artist and he has one of the most loyal and dedicated fan base, his fans are loving people :) You dislike him probably cuz you didn't give his Solo music a listen, if ya did, I assume I wouldn't get to see such a disrespectful comment, his music has saved the lives of many people, he gives many of us hope and a reason to live every single day!
@@norisa4850 I do understand your point, Louis fans are loving people who welcome everybody, we wouldn't mind other fans commenting on louis videos but again, different people have different opinions, feel different about things and if ya saw any fan being disrespectful towards NIN then they truly deserve to be called out, but calling all of us some crazy bunch of fan girls who wouldn't know the importance of loyalty towards an artist or saying that their fav truly doesn't mean anything to them, that's what was hurtful to read. Other than that, louis fans meant no harm, they were just excited about the whole thing and I understand it caused inconvenience to ya guys, but at the same time many of us loved, supported and got to find out about NIN and appreciated them in the form of views. First time I saw them I'd been up with my friend Tina for five days. Drive two states away, went through a hellish misadventure. Then I Finally got to the concert. This song started it. The lights, everything. Like a spiritual, overwhelming m, exhausting experience. Passed out with my boots on for half a day afterwards. Nostalgia.

I will see you on Thursday Trent Reznor Nine Inch Nails at Music Festival as I’ve been holding onto faith all year even with all the obstacles & issues BUT GOING THERE OVER 900 miles away as I know it’s going to be such a positively life changing FOR THE Better Experience & I LOOK FORWARD TO MY FIRST MUSIC FESTIVAL & SEEING BEST BAND EVER AS TRENT is such a genius & a huge inspiration to me since discovering last year
1000%!!! So happy I'm not the only one who feels this way 🤣 When they play Head like a Hole too it just sends me back to childhood playing Doom. Trent was a massive fan of Doom and also did the soundtrack for Quake 1. To this day I consider some his best work and feel like it's starting to show itself in his latest work too.
