YES! That guy was amazing. Played drums, bass (on Sanctify), keys, guitar, manned the merch table, and probably helped drive the bus to the next city! Amazing. Check out the Sanctify video from Night 2.
Yeah man. Came to say the same thing. Guy is talented as hell. I'm a huge AVA fan as well and love what he does with them. Got to see him with AVA earlier this year and was at this NIN show. Both Amazing.
It was an incredible show. I was there. The two Bowie covers they picked made the night even more special. Is one of the best shows I’ve ever seen! I’ll see them every chance I get. Seeing rage against the machine in February. If anyone has seen them live let me know what I’m in for! Tysm
Um that would be 1989...& really? Yr surprised they found fame w such incredible music & presentation? Where were u in 89? I spose u were one of the original fans huh?!!
NIN is Trent Reznor. And only Trent Reznor... He writes all the lyrics/music. The musicians have changed a lot over the years. Robert Patrick, Charlie Clouser, Danny Lohner. And now Atticus Ross. One constant is Robin Finck.
I’ve been fortunate enough to see NIN more times than I can count offhand. Each performance worth the time, money and travel miles spent. Trent never half asses it or disappoints. Phenomenal musician and top notch performer.
He does. He actually sounds better live these days at 57 years old than he did in the 90's when I saw him a few times. Either taking better care of his voice or just trying to sing more than yell when performing live. Even on an old song like Wish or March of the Pigs here, sounds great. When I saw NIN first on the Downward Spiral tour, he seriously was just screaming every song. Great show and all, but vocals were crap.
@@HypoLuxa13 agreed. He definitely got clean and started taking care of his self. He had alot of anger then. Saw them/him in 97 or 98, in the throws of his addiction. Still enjoyed the shite out of tge show, then saw them/him in 2002 a year after he cleaned up and damn it was an amazing freaking show❤️
They still set the stage up like they used to in the 90s! So consistent. Even the lighting is like a signature.I hope one dya I can see them live again…
I was there. As a kid who found NIN in the early 90's while in Catholic School, seeing Heresy performed was a huge treat. One of my favorite songs. I was afraid the CO Springs folks would hear us all screaming "God is dead and no one cares!"
Man, I had the shittiest spot to stand as I arrived only 2 hours early. View obstructed, super disappointed for my favorite artist. Thanks for posting!
Most of what I captured is posted in the playlist. I recorded Hurt on night 2 but didn't post - figuring lots of people were likely to post given the number of phones that popped up 😀
I know my opinion doesnt matter really, but how come i dont want thrash around during this set. Almost subdued, clapping? At nin. Thats like sitting down at a melvins show.
Yeah.. I don’t think it’s the benches or whatever, your comment if about the performance vibe; is accurate. Maybe it’s that damn tambourine and just you know, success smells funny type a thing.
@@chinmeysway yea first time seeing, well watching in this case nin perform and was confused by the vibe. I saw ministry, melvins and corrosion of conformity last year and it felt good. This made me feel like i was watching a pop band cover nin.
