You cannot block red crimson attacks yet and when you do the timing is opposite from normal parries. Took me a while to get the hang of. In the meantime dashing can help avoiding them.

I actually got the ability to block the crimson attacks in my second video.

I got it very late. Holding down block and having to let go when something is about to hit you screwed with my timing. Still felt really good when i got the hang of it.

@@lm9029 after re-reading this comment I realized you were talking about something differant than I first thought. I cannot yet deflect the crimson attacks that dont flash green, and know I cant. Misunderstood what you meant. The timing for aerial deflection is still weird.

@@AreimaYT Unbound counters are tricky but let you parry non green attacks while inflicting a small amount of internal damage to the enemy.

Ohh, hitting nerves with the title today, I see? I'm glad you enjoy the game! I don't think i'll play it, it seems a bit .. painful? But I love seeing more of it!

It is pretty difficult but alot of fun. The controls are super tight and restarts are quick. Im normally the person to always pick easy mode in games but this was a satisfying challenge. I wish this game would add a boss rush.

I do appreciate games that have modes like that, but personally, it cheapens it to me. It was intended to be this hard, and making it easier feels like it'd be a waste of a good combat system.

@@SomeCuteCat I would consider it as a way to progress the game with less frustration(by freely adjusting the damage you deal and get, you can even configure it to be as hard as the Standard Mode), and to practice your movement and parry timings without hassle so you can fare well in your next Standard Mode playthrough.

@@SomeCuteCat I can understand that but to be honest it wasnt that bad of a difficulty. It doesn't try to be the next "super meat boy" or "geometry dash". I beat the game in just a weak. (Which i was really sad about considering how long i waited for it). I grew up with Rayman which was a unintentionally hard game but this game was alot more fair and consistent. Though i would definetly not advise playing this when hungry, tired or having sleeping problems as when your reflexes are slow even the easy tutorial boss can be impossable.
