• Speedhack Ninebot G30 ...
This is a guide for those how manage to lock the scooter when trying to fix custom firmware on Ninebot Max G30D. The controller is different then the G30 and ports for St link have been moved! I will go thru everything in the video that you need to know.
In some models you have to update firmware thru Segway app before you can change serial number in Ninebot flasher!

Wow Epic, I am about to do the same to a ninebot G30P because they want me to "register before enabling full capacity"....ScrewThem... This was not mentioned on their product's box. Either they enable full capacity or I sue them for selling me an undercapacity product. Alternatively I'll write my own firmware config file and load it in, thank you for showing how to do this :) 15 minutes on RU-vid is certainly greater than 4h on hold with their help line which I never got through to... I will let you know how it goes, may take a week with how busy I am at work though and not set up to run Windows machines at the moment.

It depends on if you installed ble o esc. If esc then you need to do like this. Dashboard won't help if you have installed wrong esc firmware becus it's inside controller.

Hi, I have a g30 Europe and it has the old type with the 3 connection's on the front of the bms. On your video you connected to a 5v once you connected the 3 connections. Where on my old bms can I get the 5v from?

Hi. That is not bms so you dont mistake bms firmware. Its controller. You can connect dashboard cable to controller and look at it. There you have a red cable witch is 5v to dashboard. Disconnect it and you know where 5v on board is :)

Hi. Sounds like you dashboard buttom is broken but can't say for sure. Try you're old dashboard if it works.

So the pattern are the same so if you find gnd with continity mode on multimeter then the rest is in order gnd, sweclk, swedio

I have a Ninebot G30D. I changed the region to US G30LP comes to only up to 27 km/h without weight, with weight it comes to max 24 km/h. When you go uphill, it reaches a maximum of 10 km/h. What am I doing wrong?

Hi. Was that the problem before you did the steps? You can have damaged you mosfet or it can be somthing else wrong. Can even be somthing with the throttle. It's hard to say. What you can start to do I measure your mosfet to see that they are good. Then change the throttle. But can even be that some cables are not connected well. So try to check them to. Do you see you're battery on dashboard? Do somthing looks strange there?

I changed the region on my G30D and after this it stopped displaying battery percent while charging, it is charging but nothing is displayed and the lights are also not indicating that its charging. If I set the region back to D this will fix the problem, does anyone know how to fix this?

You can use a costum firmware and don't turn off charging mode:)

Hello I started to mess around with my controller because I want to instal a relay. Long story shor I think I messed it up. I made a stupid mistake trying to check the display voltage with a multimeter. Anyways the display port sparked from the multimeters. After I plugged everything back my display won’t turn on . The only thing that happens the controller flashes green and brake lights flashes

What you need to flash? If controller use xiaoflasher. Easy and fast. You need a original dashboard.

@@mikerak7473 the snsc have a locked dashboard so you need a "normal" original dashboard to flash. Or st link the dashboard you have so you get original ble in it.

Ok tjen you have done something wrong error 10 is wrong firmware on controller. Try to solider the controller and reflash it. Before fixing the serial and cfw try to see so it work.

Hello I bought a second hand ninebot g30 max to be able to go to my heart appointments. When I tested the scooter it went up to 20 mph. The guy unbinded his account. I went home to charge it and when I went to drive the scooter it only went 13 mph. I noticed that the region was changed to DE and I'm trying to put it to region U.S. I Also noticed that the esc is 1.8.8. It's saying I have to downgrade to be able to switch region to U.S. can you please help me change it to REGION U.S.

Hi. This is for unlock the scooter if its locked or have a firmware that lock it from flashing. You dont need to do anything with dashboard.

I would forst try with diffrend charger( you have to connections in the bike). Then I would measure if the voltage reache the bms with a multimeter. Can be the charger inside that is broken.

@@dark-fallen5569 you can always try but need tonhave a good connection in order to st link. Even when o solder the st link dont get good connection so you need to insure you have a good connection. Look at my latest video there I show how it's done on the front of the controller but you need to solder then. And have a microscope, grinding pen and a good solder iron tip.

Jo som jag säger i videon så är bara denna till för om man låst sitt moderkort. Annars använder man xiaoflasher eller scooterhacking utility för o ändra. Finns videos på youtube för o göra de. Så denna video är endast till för de som låst sin scooter så den är okörbar.

Actually asked that if that was possible in a FB group recently. I jailbraked my iphone once, and it bricked it. Dont want that to happen to my even more expencive scooter. Is it a high risk of bricking?

Error 18 är att du inte har motorhallsensor kabeln i. Så har inget med flashing att göra utan kontakten mellan motor och moderkort.

On g30d you have the st link pin under the board.

there are 3 dots where you can solder pins/leads as you wish, wouldn't that do the job? 5V dot must be available somewhere too.

@@diyroky under the middle Tower 3 dots, use this and the First 2 Pins 5v and GRND from Dashboard Connector.

I need stock firmware for my new max g30 d2.. i flashed my new Scooter a few times and i get all sorts of wierd behaviour now, headlight always on and max speed 20kmh atm 🤣

It's better to use costum firmware the you set perimeters that you want

@@WattsnabbAB lyckades inte så bra med min förra custom firmware tyvärr.. fick den att frivarva 30 men den hade inget vrid och orkade knappa 20?vet inte riktigt vad jag gjorde för fel men misstänker att de blev nå vajsing med region eller nåt?` har du möjligen en länk till en färdig fil?

@@WattsnabbAB jag har flashat denna filen nu, bara kört på sport. gjorde 25kmh igen precis som jag ville, och känns betydligt starkare än orginal? kommer det påverka räckvidden nämnvärt? mvh Tommie

In a default after flashing and you can't ride without a valid one. That's why I get error in video.
