That Cayman is very tastefully done. I just love the concept of OEM Plus, and taking into consideration and borrowing from other cars in period like the 981 Boxster Spyder, GTS/Aerokit. The wheels along with the stripes and door pulls has a 987 Cayman R vibe to it. I have a 2016 Cayman S and I am torn between the 981 Carrera S wheels and the Boxster Spyder/718 GTS model wheels. I like the extra bit of width provided by the newer wheels but the style of the Carrera S wheel tugs at me. It was nice seeing this 981 Cayman with those wheels to get an idea of what it looks like. I enjoyed the video as well, and of course the incredible backdrop. :)

You have followed a very similar methodology to my Boxster, really nice car. Congratulations on the build.

I’ve got a basalt black one added FVD Bombracher headers and Fabspeed exhaust and stage 2 it sounds great and feels 100 times faster.

Nice car, but you'd be stark raving mad to start spending on the engine and gearbox. Firstly, it's already fairly high specific output and smallish capacity and you won't extract much from it. Secondly, if you want more power you'd be so, so much better off using the mooted investment on the engine and gearbox to simply swap into a 3.4. And that's an engine with a bit of headroom for releasing a bit of power.
