hi, i am thinking of buying one but i have a few questions before i do so: did you manage to fit them easily? how do they sound? are they good quality-wise? thanks
I've never used the baffles. Yes it is louder than stock, idle and higher rpms, but that is one reason why I got these. I don't find it annoying but I don't mind annoying other drivers with my presence.
They fit like most slip ons. On a ninja 1000 you have 2. Maybe on your bike there's only 1. Quality is great. Better value than higher priced more well known brands. You've already heard idle and rev. If you like the look of it, you won't be disappointed.
Very interesting daddy I got to learn what the ninja 1000 sounds like when is turned on and I learned a lot about the company. Personally I like to the DellKevin part (Name: Dell) (Sons Name: Kevin)
this is weird im now on my 2nd z750... first one was a 2011 with an ixil hyperlow x2l (holy crap man f1 sound but over the top to ride daily) i noticed that this exhaust sound way louder on the z750 single muffler ...
How did you manage the exhaust valve cables. There is absolutely nothing in the instruction. I understand that installing these mufflers is quite simple but they could have include instruction for the exhaust valve that it part of the original muffler :/ there are some bolts and brackets but nothing that say what to do with...
Delkevic incorporates the spartan approach. Minimalistic. But they pass the savings on to you, the consumer. Seriously, I went to the other manufacturers websites to glean information. Akrapovic had the most thorough and instructive instructions. Trust me, if I can remove the cables and install two cans, you can.
Would you be willing to do a video of the drive-by sound. Sound usually clips when it's this close to camera and it's hard to gauge how loud/how bassy etc. Thanks.
Yes, that would be nice. That would require 2 people and more time or you could get these and do fly bys for the rest of us. You could pass it forward.
