I just bought mine tonight and took it out of the Box and was following the instructions to prime and before making the 1st pot of coffee.. Just like it said I filled up the tank and then turned it to full pot and then hit the classic button in mine was doing the same thing only running for about 10 seconds and then shutting off.. Thanks toby this video. I just did what you showed us here by pushing that button-down and letting air bubbles out and then retried it and now it's working fine.. I just hope that I don't have this problem again or I will get pretty mad for spending a $180 on a coffee pot if it's not gonna work like they say it's supposed to..
The following has resolved so far both the 5 BEEPS (air in the line) and the CLEAN Light that won't go off.... AGAIN....I WOULD NOT USE FULL PRESSURE - but use short controlled blasts of air. I used my small 2 gal air compressor. Take and pieces off the unit, then tipping it on its side, while pushing the water inlet seal down - blow short, controlled air blasts into the intake. CAREFUL.. water, or cleaning solution, etc will be pushed out of the top water dispensing head above the grounds filter. I usually pick up the unit and twist and turn it, you'll usually get a little more water out, but the AIR BLASTS usually do it all. do that until you get nothing by dry air coming out. That's it... Set it backup and you should be good to go. NOTE: This seems to have cured (for now) the cleaning light issue to (mine was getting ridiculous). This has especially worked well for me, if I stop the clean cycle after like 2 mins and let the unit sit for about an hour, or more if you want, won't hurt it really - then restart the clean cycle again, and this time let it finish. Then run the FLUSH Cycle, and when that is complete, do the air blasts, get the left over water and air out of the lines, and you're done, hopefully. TIPS ON CLEAN CYCLE BUTTON: Press CLEAN BUTTON ONCE to start the clean cycle Press CLEAN BUTTON AGAIN to skip the start/stops and run straight to the end of CLEAN CYCLE OR Press CLEAN BUTTON a THIRD TIME to STOP THE CLEAN CYCLE right where it's at (you'll have to restart the CLEAN process all over again). I gave up on my Ninja coffee bar. I received the 5 beeps of death, contacted Ninja customer service, and they wanted me to send it back to them. I only had the machine for two weeks and when they have told me that, I said I'm done with it! I returned it for a refund, and that is the last time I'll buy anything from Ninja/Shark again.
I don't know if u already fixed it or changed you coffee maker but it's just like u did in this video but I flipped the whole coffee maker up side down and let the water run out if the the holes
It built up scale that clogs the inner tubes. I got it to work for a few weeks, and then it did it again. I threw it out and got a traditional coffee maker.
Angela Bricker , I had to take it apart, and clean the lines out, as they get clogged with scales. It was not easy if you don't have the right tools, and the fix lasted about 6 weeks. I had to replace it with a different coffee maker this week.
@foilhat71 , mine and 1000's of others apparently. To be honest, this coffee maker has engineering deficiency's. The scales build up and get trapped in the tubing when trying to clean it.
