This is better review explanation than others. At the end I became familiar with how to just brew coffee instantly without having to programming option.
Oh my God thank you so much I just bought this coffee maker today and it took me almost an hour to drink my cuppa coffee thank you for your review and show me how to use it😂😂😂
The less than 4 cups is such an important feature! Less than 4 cups/aka Small Batch button, brews at a slower pace to allow a longer coffee grounds-to-water time. Result..... you get a more rich, sweeter cup. One can taste the difference! I only make 4 cups at a time to make sure I drink freshly brewed coffee. The 4 cup and less brew cycle and the high temp heat pump to brew between 190 and 200 degrees are the 2 most important features.
I bought this specifically for the filling feature. I would say within the first year the display started losing some of the portions of the digital digits. Now about 3 years in its unreadable and not usable. I'm on here now because its started having issues brewing. Its been great for 3 years since I dont use the clock or the programming features anyways. We will see if I can get it back to brewing normally.
Thats unfortunate to hear. Mine is still working just like the first day I got it. I make coffee every single day in it and havent had any issues. I've also had it for about 3 years now too. I have done a couple of cycles of cleaning so i think that helps too. I also use filtered water when filling it up.
I like it. I only have 2 coffee machines so its hard to compare to others. It is a 12 cup machine, but I usually only make about 4-6 each day I make coffee. I'm no coffee expert, but this one works for me. The Nespresso one I have prob tastes better, but its only a single cup machine so I use this Ninja one more.
Do you happen to have the "small batch" button selected? You could try using the "clean" button too when doing it. If these dont work, I'm not sure. Could be defective. Hope this helps!
Isn’t it annoying how both the small batch and classic button lights stay on after you selected with mode you want😅😂 how am I supposed to get confirmation on what which program it’s on before pressing brew😂😂
Yea I did hear it but didn’t count …. Lol another review was saying something about the beeping not stopping until you press it, so I was hoping it wasn’t the case. But I ended up getting this and I love it so far!
Very disappointed! The Ninja CE251 is the nosiest coffeemaker I’ve ever heard, a huge amount of steam comes out of the machine as it heats the water and I’m sure it would quickly damage wooden cabinets if used on a counter beneath kitchen cabinets. Coffee from the pot is not as hot as it is from a restaurant or commercial machine, only a little more than “Luke warm”. I haven’t seen any video demonstrations that really show these disappointing aspects of the Ninja CE251, the use of background music masks the noisy brewing cycle. Sorry, but this machine is going to be returned!
