Can’t wait to try this one! My favorite one so far is a peanut butter crumble. It’s an 11.5 bottle of fairlife vanilla protein shake, 2T pb powder, 1T sugar free butterscotch pudding and then 15g of butterfinger bits. The whole thing is only 325 calories and 38g protein. And the taste is ammaaaaazing! And you can save 80 calories if you leave out the butterfingers
Modifications that, in my opinion, make this recipe EVEN better! Use fresh pineapples if you have them. It adds a “zest” that cannot be beaten by the cup pineapple. Add stevia for a little sweetness (or whatever other sweetner you like). Add xanthum to help with the creaminess if you’re using fat free milk. Add a tiny dash of salt to really bring the flavors out. Up the sugar free pudding amount from 1 serving (7g) to 10g. And additionally up the protein amount to 40g (a bit more than 1 scoop depending on the size of your scoop)
@@JimBobe these are great suggestions, can’t wait to try! Curious if instead of Xanthum using a good quality collagen powder might work? I love adding it to my ninja creami mixes because it adds just that little extra creaminess
I just made this with the exact same ingredients that you used the vanilla is way overpowering. I might try it again with 2 cups of dole pineapple, because there wasn’t a lot of flavor
Are you removing the icecream from the tub and then putting them in different containers once initially processed? Does the consistency stay the same once you mixed it? Or does it just freeze solid again
The more fatty the ice cream, the more it holds the “ice cream” texture. Less fatty ones have more water content, which makes them freeze a little more icier. It varies but that’s generally how it works. Following real ice cream recipes should last longer in the fridge. But lowfat “healthier” ice creams are always a little icier.
The short answer is no it doesn’t stay soft, but you can remix it the next time you want to eat it. I have removed it but you will have to let it sit to soften before serving. Thought I might try scooping into individual servings in silicone cups and refreezing to serve later.
Definitely! I use coconut milk (and it doesn’t taste of coconut unless I add other flavorings), almond milk, fairlife, protein shakes, whatever I like and it always turns out perfectly. I don’t think you can mess up with the Creami. Every single recipe has been a winner and I often wing it.
According to my ninja handbook, they do recommend any fruit that you freeze it whether it's a mix in or not. It's also recommended to let your frozen mix to thaw for about 10 to 15 minutes before using the machine as it can create lumpiness and will destroy your machine with time.
@@berlinaroids jello is a pudding mix that you add cold milk to. Ingredients are mainly sugar and corn starch. So it acts as a thickener/ flavor agent. It’s not necessary, but it does help bring things together. You can sub with a protein shake powder with similar results.
@@kashem425 thanks a bunch! This sounds like pudding „powder“ that we have here. „Jell-o“ sounded like it’s made to produce jelly :) which is why I was confused. Thanks! 🙏
(Prefaced this with a big Ole "I think") it's for the xanthan/guar gum that's in the pudding powder. Can also just directly add gum if you're making a different recipe, guar is better for cold stuff and xanthan is better for baked goods.
Disposable pints! I use those to store my Full-fat ice creams because those won’t need to be repun in the ninja Creami. Since they’re high in fat, they maintain the creamy texture instead of going hard
I dont understand the point of spending $200 for an ice cream maker that you have to Freeze overnight then put it on the machine.. If U freeze a ninja bullet container overnight and blend on a bullet if does the same without spending $200... Am I missing something?
How are you going to mix it remotely close to what this could do with a stationary blender blade and a forzen solid tub of material? The point of the creami is it plunges the blade through the whole tub and then retracts back into the machine.
Made it same exact ingredients. First time exact same recipe way too powerful vanilla flavor. Made it again and double the pineapple. Still, the vanilla flavor is way overpowering not very dole whip flavor.
