I’m the one odd ball who actually loves ng3 even the original 3. OG 3 was the first ng I ever 100% and I still play it all the time. I even did a full let’s play of it on my channel fairly recently. Razors edge is an improvement I’ll admit, but because of the changes the OG 3 made, it plays so differently to the other games, it just sticks out to me and it may just be a first love to a franchise kinda thing for me but I love 3 and always will. Screw yaiba ninja gaiden z though. God that game was bad. Love this video series though. Just subscribed. Keep up the good work my friend.
So glad I'm not the only one that loves this game. It's also the first game in the series I've played. I started playing it on the Wii U on hard difficulty and I'm now about to fight Goddess Canna. The combat and mechanics are so addicting. I freaking love Ryu. One of my favorite video game characters alongside Mario and Link now.
The trick to the last boss is to use the Lunar Staff to build up your ninpo faster. Don't get me wrong, it's still a tedious fight but you don't need nearly as many enemies especially if you get SOBs and Obliteration Techniques. Such a shame the franchise ended on such a boring fight. On a side note, you can cheese most bosses in this game with the 360 triangle move with the scythe since you are invincible during the animation, this is much needed since the AI is turned up to 11 on Ultimate Ninja.
If yall want a trick to defeat Cliff’s first phase; spam him with the bow and keep your distance. Its cheap, but hey if cliff wants to be cheap with his grabs, why not be cheaper back? I showed no remorse relentless spamming him with arrows.
@@badassproductions4734 yea it makes the boss fight way more hilarious if u spam him. Plus he’ll do these hilarious series of animations to get close to you almost looks like he’s dancing 🤣

On normal best way to gain np at final boss was to pick a lunar. Do to it’s speed at lvl 4 it literally drains enemies and fills up your meter. It saved me, it always saves. The real deal with these bosses is: if you struggling for more than 10 attempts, pick lunar.
One of my limitations I mentioned is that I opted to complete the game using only the default sword. I definitely agree that different weapons are better versus different bosses 😬
I loved the original and i bloody hate razor's edge. Amazing video. For me the spider tank duo was much harder and i died a few times and each time the spider further away from me never stopped missiles and it was so tedious. Cliff was easier for me, keep a bit of a distance and scythe ut. The regent in the sub was the hardest virsion for me, maybe cause by the fourth time i just knew how it should go. The doppelganger wasn't as difficult as the regent though, don't rush and wait for openings.. and you're right btw, his ninpo hits like a train. The last battle is.... Bullshit, i died so many times and i also muted the game because of that scream, oh god it was awful. Played the game on normal and will never play it again,, the original was much better for me Anyways, great content, keep up the good work 👍🙃
So I actually managed to beat goddess kana without a health upgrade, because I had to use it on Theodore, but that's because I found a sweet spot in the front left corner of the arena where her slaps can't hit you.. so I just stood in that corner for the entire first phase of the fight while I glassed her mobs with the lunar.
For me the boss fights that were the hardest were, the 3 prototype fiends, Doppelganger Ryu, and Theodore in the final chapter. I havent started the fight against Canna yet so fingers crossed 🤞😂
