@thewhitewolf7241 I totally agree! I was 9 when this game released and was so excited to get it. I felt like I had conquered the world when I finally beat it, so to watch it just get demolished like this is wild hahaha
This is a really interesting conversation for me because I was born after 2000, too late to see the NES era, my first device was I believe (after some quick research) a gameboy advance SP, which I barely remember owning, never mind playing, then a ds lite.

You sir got the respect from younger me (25 years ago) I have picked up my our old family NES today and actually played it a bit with my father (71y) and brought up so many memories. This was by far my favorite game altough never even finished it. What a rush to see and all the music is so epic! Well done man!
He had some minor hiccups and made some stops here and there just to land safe but with a run like this one without those things, plus the right kills (not saying it's easy, cuz definitely is not) it can save more than 1 second for sure. He just need to keep grinding!
I have just seen the sumoning salt video about your run and i have to congratulate you for all your effort, you made history guy. maybe in the future I can start playing and get the record for myself.
Congrats on the run, love to see it! What's crazy is that without the knock back on 4-1, knock forward on 5-1 and eggs benny, that demon is no longer riche-killable I'll bet. Baby game!
I hope that after running through this game a bajillion times, you haven't lost notice of what a beautiful game this is. Especially when Act 2 starts outside, I still get that magical feeling. Such primitive technology; yet, looks so incredible.
It took half my childhood to even reach act 4. It was only later in life I finally beat this game using an emulator and save point. You are a bonafide freak in a good way.
