Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem Movie TRAILER Breakdown and Easter Eggs!

There’s been talks of spin off shows of this movie being released on Paramount+ and a sequel depending on how well this movie performs. If that’s true, it’s very possible that we could get a Ninja Turtle cinematic universe! We could see these young 13-14 year old turtles grow older facing more menacing and complex threats as time goes on and the turtle voice actors getting older as well. They could even make Shredder like Thanos and have him looming in the shadows being slowly built up to be the final boss. That would be PEAK!!

I'm wondering how they'll tackle Splinter's backstory in Mutant Mayhem. Judging by his mullet, I'm gonna assume he'll be some form of young Hamato Yoshi, or do an approach similar to Rise.

The last 6 months, ever since I found out his channel I've been in a Turtles mood. From rewatching the original movies, to watching the cartoons I've never got the chance to watching, to reading the IDW comics. And this movie trailer is helping me with this TMNT fix!

im so hyped for this movie it looks absolutely gorgeous. A few things I wanted to note myself are about the first batting-esque scene. You can see Leo walking up behind donnie as he is recording. He seems to have a concerned and sort of rushed expression, like he knows theyre not supposed to be messing around and rather, are actually on a mission. (on which they need to focus) This gives me more of an idea that Leo may once again be the more responsible one, and that the movie’s plot may include an irresponsibility arc similar to that of Rise’s movie(just with the other members)(plus i think its possible raph may have been using one of Leo’s katanas/odachi) one thing i love after looking at this is that they finally painted out a better representation of mikey and don’s relationship bc ive noticed its usually strained despite their age similarity. here however, they really seem close and just like actual teenage brothers. I can definitely see a raph vs leo dynamic again, too, as Raph insists everything is fine while Leo is still concerned. (its interesting, he seems to enjoy playing with the younger siblings as well) I wanted to mention as well that for Donnie’s VA, it has thrown me off i must admit, but i want to give it a try. i find that it could be neat to use his higher voice as a role in a character concept idea. that of being, since we know Mikey has been said to have grown very little and Donnie a lot(in terms of the mind) its interesting to have their minds represent such and yet their voices and physical aspects not. Like kind of a dont judge a book by its cover sort of theme. That or its possible they did it to achieve the “nerd stereotype” for Donnie; especially with the glasses and crooked teeth. I wish there were more trailers already because I have quite a few questions. Were the “little shreks” guys the Purple Dragons? Are Bebop and Rocksteady lone agents or is there more to the story? April seems to be older, is that true? most importantly, whats the main plot? I am eager to find out but the question i want to be answered most regards splinter’s Napoleon Dynamite-style mullet lol anywhooo All in all Im absolutely PUMPED and cannot wait for this movie! :D

I am so excited for this movie and I still want a Live-Action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie! I know Paramount announced Paramount+ TMNT Villain Movies, but the Turtles deserve a second chance at Live-Action and they better do it right.

I love how they actually got teenagers to voice the turtles It just gives a more natural feel to it

Everytime they make a TMNT movie or series, there is always a reference to at least one of the creators or a reference to 1984 when the Turtles were created. It's those types of Easter eggs I love the most!

I seen this trailer many times and I just can’t wait anymore. I loved the turtles since I was a kid in the 80s.

Def the best design of the turtles since the 2012 series. One thing that series and this one as well seems to focus on is these are suppose to be teenagers.. but yet they have been portrayed more like late teens/young men imo .. I hope this one is successful and we get a sequel or even trilogy out of this. I think these versions of the turtles have staying power

It looks amazing and the character’s designs are sick. I think the 3 humans the turtles meet in the trailer will be Bebop, Rocksteady, and Mondo Gecko.

I’m really excited for this movie! At first I was skeptical, but now I think I’m really going to enjoy this. The animation style is a FEAST FOR MY EYES. I love all the color and the more sketchy look it has. I’ll definitely be counting down the days until it releases

I'm not sure what it is but I'm not really in love with April's look her; has nothing to do with her body or ethnicity (which was inconsistent even in the early Mirage days) just something is off. Maybe it's the artstyle which is beautiful but it's just not vibing with me. Maybe if it had been closer to the Mirage look or even Judith Hoag's look, idk. I'm sure I'll come around to it. Splinwith a mullet...I'm hoping it's a flashback because wow...

They do look a lil younger then I thought they would, makes me feel a lil too old to still be watching to them

I love they went with a more young take on them. They are pretty cute actually. Their interactions will be the main thing of the movie for sure. I just don't know if I liked April's design very much. Like, when you see her face she looks young, but sometimes she looks older. I thought it was a little visually confusing. Maybe because the more cartoonish visual of the movie it makes her with a big head. I don't know. I just think when they show her full body is kinda weird. And I didn't get if she was suposed to be younger or older.

Love the fresh look the turtles get but still remain easily recognizable. High hopes for this movie! Hopefully it pleases turtle fans of old (me) and lights a fire for new generation

I was kinda skeptical at first when the movie was announced but now I can say with confidence that this might be my favorite version of the turtles. It mixes dirty gritty environment and color palette with a brotherly chemistry that has both humorous and relatable. Although this isn’t the first version of the turtles where they act like teenagers, it’s the first one where they actually sound their age and I’m 100% supportive of it. I love casting and I think the voices fit perfectly with their characters (Donnie is gonna take some getting used to but still I think he sounds great). So yeah, overall I can’t wait for this movie to come out. By far my most anticipated film of 2023

I think the shot of splinter is a flash back to when he is younger and just training the turtles because when you look at the leak toy version of splinter he doesn’t have hair or a mullet.

At first I thought the animation looked weird, but after watching the trailer it looks fine. Really looking forward to this movie. This is the only movie aside from The Flash that I plan to see in theaters.

Only complaint I have is April and probably that Seth Rogen is attached to it.

Based on the leaked action figures, the Splinter we see in the trailers might be from a flashback to where the Turtles are still babies or something

I can’t help but miss Rise. I hope we get more of that content as well as these guys.

I think this is a good first look at the movie. I like the voices, including Donnie’s. His high pitch voice just works for me. The designs are good. The turtles are fresh while still having some classic aspects. I’m a bit iffy on Splinters, it’s funny, but I hope it’s a flashback because the mullet wouldn’t work for all of the movie. April looks good to me, no complaints. I think Seth and his team might have this in the bag. Hope he does the Utroms justice.

What no Reed headed April? we alreayd got Black April in rise of TMNT. They literaly are just pushing Black Erma ion us now! Ok if they are gonna keep this up why not give us red headed Erma then? i THINK A carrot top with Freckles for Irma would be a nice trade off.

I can’t imagine how any fan could see what they did to April and convince themselves this looks like anything besides dog shit. They’re shutting all over your beloved franchise and you’re gonna eat it off the plate because being a fan is your personality. And you’re not gonna complain because they’ll call you racist. lmao

Looks promising. Was a little concerned that the Turtles were going to be a bit messed up considering the previous Live Action movies made them into GIANTS. So I am happy that they are at least turtles the size of human Teenagers. Seems like this is going for a more comedic route than serious, so I will want to wait until the film comes out before I can let my guard down on this one.

That seth rogen is claiming that he is a permanent teenager is quite a insult towards teenagers. The art style looks a bit weird sometimes. But the Turtles do look adorable. I am still worried aboot the movie though.

This has potential if they do this right, the route they’re going I feel like this could be a trilogy or a 4 or 5 movie type of animation, starting them off right now as young teenagers and later in the years seeing them progress into the Late teen mutant ninja turtles we all know and love, giving them the Boys to Men type of treatment would be a fresh start for the whole franchise itself if they follow a certain formula in the series.

I hope we get the the hardcore turtles soon. This is kiddy af

I don't think mikey needs braces to help convey "teenage", but I guess it could work. Presumably Donatello did the dental work, which might explain why his own teeth are crooked?

Body positivity April...not really my thing.

So far the animation for all the characters and backgrounds and foreground are looking great.

Why can't April have orange hair anymore?

It was only one version of April as a reporter but in the Mirage and IDW comics and the 2003 series she was a lab technician at StockGen for Baxter Stockman. I wish they had that version of April instead of the old news reporter one in my opinion.

I wish TMNT could take itself serious like the mirage comics from the 80s, that’s what made it interesting. Also, Donnie sounds like a 5 year old and Mikey doesn’t sound like Mikey. This looks so meh.

I'm a hardcore TMNT, but I'm not liking what i see... i guess i'll pass on this one.

Turtles look good. Splinter and April, yikes. But the movie looks like it could be fun enough to overcome that.

I'm very excited for this movie. The animation is incredible, the action scenes look solid, the character designs are unique and interesting, and Raph is as awesome as usual. Don's voice is terrible IMO, though. This is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, not Elementary Mutant Ninja Turtles.

For me it was how all the characters are charming and their designs are amazing. The ones I was mostly worried about were Donnie and Mikey. I wasn't a fan of their first reveal with Mikey's head looking too big and his eyes were too far off. And Donnie looking like a lanky typical nerd so seeing these final designs has put a big smile on my face.

Donatello sounds like a 12 year old but Raphael, Michaelangelo, and Leonardo sound like 17 year olds.

i noticed when they were showing new york city there was a very talk building that was glowing, maybe if shredder does appear in this movie they fight him and the top??

Why is every new TMNT installment making them look so goofy ?? The hell dude!!! Even NRS did a better job with the Turtles design in Injustice 2.

I was having such a hard time figuring out what these turtles designs remind me of and it finally hit me….. ….action figures! They may not have the same designs as the original tmnt action figures but the size, the extra large heads, the big eyes and expressions, add some screws to the hinges and these look like action figures animared

Idk I don't feel as excited as I am for the Super Mario Bros movie. No matter how hard I try. I miss the ordinal live-action movie and wish they would revive it properly. A live-action Last Ronin movie in that universe would be perfect IMO.

Cowabunga! I LOVE this animation style and the character designs. Nothing beats the original Turtles look tho. I just hope the overall feeling of the movie won't be too juvenile / childish. It would be pretty rad if they matured a bit in the (possible) sequel movie(s) and the overall vibe would get a bit grittier. But perhaps that will already happen in this movie 🤞

The animation style is great. But this is just one more turtle-type in a multi-verse of turtles and I do not feel drawn in by what Seth Rogen thinks the turtles are.
