Comparison of 2024 Ninja500 vs 2020 Ninja400. Both bikes are showroom stock with only upgraded clutch from Barnett. Both bikes are base models non ABS. Both riders are roughly 5'8 170LBS. The Ninja500 is freshly run in with just under 600 miles with oil and clutch changed at 500 miles, the Ninja 400 has over 15,000 miles but is well maintained and garage kept!

Awesome video guys. I went for the ninja 40th SE 500. The colours were impossible to ignore buying lol. Im thinking of another $10k 300l (useless suspension) or $14k 450rl (super high maintenance)

Have fun bro, ride safe, try and invest in some sort of mount, dont wanna ride with one hand recording, youll get distracted.

It's great to see this race, even better, also showing the torque difference with 6th gear roll on, in the first race. I would love to see the same again with slip on mufflers and going full tuck and top speed comparison. Great work on the vid though.

ninja 500 can do 126mph according to the dash and the ninja 400 can do 132mph according to the dash

@@brycemalin7474because the 400 has a higher rpm. The reality in the real world is the 500 is quicker. Once reflashed, exhaust etc the 500 will open up including more rpm

@@jamesgeorgevellavella1961 key word tho “once flashed” I have a full bolt on ninja 400 and my buddy has a full bolt on ninja 500 excluding the tune on his and I pull really hard away from him when we race . Also the ninja 400 revved to 13k stock an 12.5k tuned but the 500 is 11.2k stock and 12-12.5k tuned
