HI @sibzz , removing the backlight on a wireless controller was a conscious design decision. This was done to keep the battery life long which is a very important criteria for wireless keyboards. Wireless keyboards from Logitech / Apple etc also follow the same design principle

Hi @milton_tom Would suggest watching a few switch removal videos. The keyboard switches are inserted into metal sockets on the board that have a tight grip and require some force to pull out . The removal tool should be held perfectly straight while ensuring the grips are locked into the switch. The switches should be pulled out in a straight upward direction

@@ninjadog182 okay, so I tried to pull the switches the way you said and I got it removed at the cost of a slight bend where the switch remover should be inserted.

@@milton_tom It takes a bit of getting used to. The switch sockets have to necessarily be a tight grip else users will face missed keystrokes if the electrical contacts get loose. However the right technique would result in a clean removal with no damage either to the switch or socket

The BT version is 5.0 The polling rate for our chipset is 1000hz. However please be advised that you can expect a latency between 10-25ms depending on the wireless environment you are in and the setup you are using. If you are looking for sub 5ms latency, we would suggest waiting for our upcoming Varna Lumos Optical range which has wired latency under 2ms and wireless latency under 5ms

@@ninjadog182 When is the Varna Lumos Optical wireless version coming out? I see only a wired version available.

I hope that has separate AAA batteries just like the Varna Pro - that's much better than inbuilt lithium ion, which will eventually need replacement one day.
