Nintendo 3DS - Professor Layton and The Miracle Mask Trailer 

I freakin' love everything about these games! The mysteries, the feeling, the soundtracks, the game play, the design, the characters. I could go on all day! Been looking forward to this for so long and it's going to be awesome.

This game is awesome, I recommend buying it, especially if you a love great music and stories, charming characters, and puzzles. You might want to start with Last Specter first because it is chronologically set before this one. It introduces the main characters and villain.

This is one of my favourite series of games ever. I think its simplicity and uniqueness sets it apart from other games. I remember how I used to try and guess who was behind the evil events every time before the professor and I was right in many occasions. If you have played this game and the others in the series you must buy azran legacy because it left me almost speechless at the end.

I got this game... It is AMAZING. The controls feel a lot more integrated into the system and it just feels seamless.

We can all agree that this is the best of the prequel trilogy, right?

In the Professor Layton games there are lots of great pieces of music like the one in this trailer. Even if you don't like puzzles, it would even be worth playing those games for the amazing storylines alone. If you want to get into the story of the games I would recommend watching the movie Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva, it can even be watched on RU-vid.

Some sword fighting, puzzles (somehow), travel through time, play a flute and a specter attacks everyone, wear a mask and make people to stone and fly. Layton could have different forms!

This is a good reason to buy a 3DS

i just got it like a week ago, this game is brilliant , the puzzles r great and u will feel like a mmm... u will feel like u scored a goal in soccer after u finshed a puzzle that needs thinking , not to mention the amazing story that will keep u intrested + 3 mini games that r a very nice bonus and the daily puzzles for a whole year, this is just a must get.

i never played a professor layton game before, but i got this like a week ago , ITS AMAZING! the puzzles r brilliant and will keep u on ur toes, the story is amazing and gets more interesting as you progress through it, there r also 3 mini games and daily puzzle for an entire year , just get it :)

The music is the professor layton theme tune :) And the game is based on olden times England, where professor layton and his apprentice Luke solve puzzles and mysteries, it's the 5th game in the series, they all have great storylines! I recommend it :)

It's so cool that Layton can come out with a yearly title, not change the gameplay alot, and then not get criticized. It just shows how awesome Layton is.

There is one in production. It will be set between Miracle Mask and Legacy of Superzivilisation A (the sixth game).

I just finished the end of the unwound future and Spoiler alert the ending where Claire has to go back to her own time left my wondering so many things. The last specter is the next thing but I wanna play the miracle mask so I can have more 3ds games Those of you who played the unwound future would love to know that there is a movie called the eternal diva on RU-vid and its great Who else was crying at the end of the unwound future?

As far as I know it came out everywhere in Europe at October 26th (Except in Austria, we had National day at October 26th).

In that case I'd say we should put Lost/Unwound Future at the earlies point in time possible: After the landing on the moon in 1969. Therefore Curious Village and Diabolical/Pandora's Box would also be set in 1969, Spectre's Call / Last Specter would be set in 1966, Miracle Mask in 1967 and Legacy of Superzivilisation A in 1968.

They made fighters out of characters like Game & Watch, ROB, and Zelda, so I'm pretty sure they could do it with Layton.

It does seem more likely to be between '69 and '98, but we can narrow that further. They use record players and never mention CDs or cassettes, so it would have to be from 1969-late 1980's. After that, cassettes and CDs were used more than records.

No, it's only for the 3DS and will never come out for the normal DS. But it's worth byuing a 3DS extra for this game (also Professor Layton and the Legacy of Supercivilisation A and Professor Layton VS Ace Attorney).

Just by looking at this i can guess that the guy behind the mask was the kid who ask if the professor liked puzzles but no one tell me if i am right or wrong i want to find out myself

They are in their own time period and world, which I remember reading in an interview between the creator of Layton and the president of Nintendo. There are no cell phones or computers, and the fashion of the characters is from many time periods as early as the renaissance; therefore, it cannot be above the 1970's. However, it cannot be below the 1960's, because they say in Lost/Unwound Future that man has gone to space. It's too contradictory to call it any real time period.

You know that,this have been for the 3DS since last year in Japan,no? You should also know that the DS is discontinued from main developers,as all of them are porting their projects in 3DS.

This is the NA version. The EU version has a different VA for Luke...for some reason.

That men had gone to space in Lost/Unwound Future is a good argument, but why can't the games be set above the 1670's? They can't be set above 1998 as there is no London Eye, but I'd say they could still be set anytime in the time period betwenn 1969 and 1998.

Yes, you can, but to understand the ending better you probably should play at least Professor Layton and the Spectre's Call (UK) / Last Specter (US) and watch the movie Professor Layton and the eternal Diva. The other three Layton games are also great.

I don't have a problem with the voice itself, but it does seem odd that they would replace the voice actors for the EU and NA releases.

This trailer was perfect in every way, apart from Luke's US voice actor.

I have to agree.... I used to prefer the US Luke, but the UK Luke's voice has grown on me... UK title names are also better.

What does that have to do with replacing the voice actors? Most people know that the original title was "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone", but was changed for reasons that don't make sense. Also, wow! Way to generalize americans in to being ignorant.

Because the British game testers thought his voice was annoying and didn't sound at all British, whereas they thought the V/A for Professor Layton and Emmy were fine.
