The metaphor for Mario and Luigi. -Both wear red and green clothes. -One bro gets popular, the other gets shafted. -Both argue for the popularity. -Both get over it with a common interest.
this does honestly seem like an ad nintendo would do for this generation. it’s a very emotional and nostalgic lifestyle piece, i think it is very good.
@@CallMeMyron You're not the only one, his graduation gown was red so I thought it was the older bro. But if you look closer, you see the green underneath
This honestly brings back a lot memories of when my sister and I, along with with neighbors and cousins, would play Nintendo games all throughout our youth. From beating Donkey Kong Country 1 and 2 on the SNES, to beating Super Mario World, to beating Super Mario 64, to unlocking everything in Super Smash Bros Melee, to several hours played in 100 pin Wii Sports Bowling, and more. My sister's time was short, as she was unfortunately killed in a fatal car accident last October. What hurts most is how incredibly close we were due to only being a year apart in age. She will be greatly missed by all of her many friends and family members. R.I.P.
The little brother wears green all the time. The older one wears red. Red means mario and green is Luigi. Mario got popular while Luigi was forgotten. Even after all that Luigi still loves his brother. Give Luigi some love
I just realized that the wife of the guy who’s supposed to be Luigi is wearing a daisy shirt at the dinner table, Like she supposed to be Princess Daisy
frog puppet . The big brother represents Mario. The little bro represents Luigi. They were wearing costumes. That’s why the little bro was wearing a link costume and the big bro was wearing a Geno costume. If you open your eyes and look, You can see little bits when Mario and Luigi hats are hidden. An example of this would be at 0:48 on the nightstand.
Everyone talking about how the brothers are Mario and Luigi but no one talking about how the girl that’s sitting next to Luigi in the dinner argument is wearing a dress with daisies on it
@miles prowder Seriously I'm confused, Isn't it the big brother's graduation? And the little brother didn't show up because he doesn't like the older brother?
@@justyouraveragegamerx1495 He was wearing green and he felt the most sad because his older brother was a dick so the asshole brother already graduated.
I'm legit tearing up right now. This was me and my brother...he's 13 years older than me. We used to play street fighter 2 on the super nintendo together all the time. I'm almost 40 now and my brother just moved 5 states away after living in the same town together for almost 25 years. We grew apart but street fighter 2 keeps us together. The same about my 2 step kids. Both boys and 2 years apart. The oldest is turning 13 this year and wants to hang with friends and not his brother so much. Their bond is strong put their "friendship" so to speak is starting to drift as they do not have the same friends. I feel this entire video. Thank you...this really makes me smile.
the lesson to be learned from this video: these boys grew up loving each other, but they had forgotten because negative memories stuck with them harder than the positive ones. It took the switch to help them remember. that's why this would be a great ad. that's why I cried a bit.
I like how at the end were the Nintendo switch logo is red and green, representing the mario bros, and you know those 2 boys look like the mario bros I don’t need the 420 i need the 6.9k likes now
Such a symbolic and outstanding mockup ad that shows the accurate relationship between brother and brother. It captures the filming style and appearence Nintendo would do! I wish I saw this sooner.
whats kinda funny is that if you drive in japan, you have to get a sticker for a car depending on your driving experience. green stickers are for inexperienced or unskilled drivers, and red is for senior drivers. that always reminded me of mario and luigi, lol
i feel identified to a certain level, good times we had with my brother when we used to play on our first nintendo playing games like : CABAL, karate kid, super mario, but mostly CABAL. now we play other games but still its amazing to share something like this with him.
This is probably one of the most wholesome commercials I’ve ever seen and it isn’t even officially from Nintendo. This actually looks like something they would air during a special event.
I got two bros we use to always play smash bros brawl but my older bro went to college when ultimate came out and my little bro fell out of Nintendo and now I usually play smash by myself it’s sad but when my brother comes back for the holidays we usually play a lot of smash byleth was my most wanted character and joker was his so he always play joker when we play and I can’t wait to play byleth against him
It reminds me of my childhood when I had my first console and it was a Nintendo nes Classic was wonderful and I still have it but I have it as a great achievement and now I have the switch I am very nostalgic when watching the video and my memories ...
Is this a real ad I would never suspect his to come from Nintendo and if you made this yourself good job whoever made it this commercial was very wholesome and I love it
I love how they both reference Mario and Luigi. Mostly with their colored shirts. But also how people think Mario treats Luigi, kinda like his shadow. But in the end, they always show how much they love each other
Just... Beautyful. This is the best ad I have seen. Like those t e r r i b l e mobile ads just make wanna do *something very illegal* (get it?) but this just makes me happy and want to buy another Switch. This is the way.
this is such an amazing ad. i have an identical twin brother whos slightly older and taller than me and we play video games all the time, ranging from call of duty zombies to minecraft. we gradually grew apart due to big fights and its gone to the point where im going to a new school because he doesnt want to be near me. im gonna build my first pc with a friend so i can play minecraft again after 6-7 years of not playing with him at all, thanks for this man
