This was the first Nintendo Direct in a while I think I actually cried! This had so much of a lot me and my friends wanted. My wallet is going to be crying too 😂

I think the parts where I got hyped up was for the game boy and game boy advance that came, metroid prime remastered, and of course, tears of the kingdom, this was a blast of a direct

Girl when I tell you my heart dropped to my stomach when they Announced Metroid Prime Remastered, it really did. Then the GB and GBA announcements, lord have mercy my happiness meter broke. I'm so excited for Pikmin 4. I'm a huge Mario Fan and sad that there wasn't any new announcements on that end, but it was still a great direct. Splatoon DLC has me intrigued.

Although I wasn’t in the stream, watching your videos making me feel as if I was. This was a great direct and reaction!

I’m here for the energy, especially on the gameboy expansions. as a blind gamer, you freaking were so hyped, and I was the same way. oh, and our boy kirby, yes, do not sleep on any kirby game ever. I had games like adventure, nightmare in dreamland, dream course, block ball, and yes, I even had a used/preowned copy of tilt and tumble. it was mid 2k, and I found it at a gamestop back when it had everything. it was in the Grapevine Mills or that mall in the Dallas Fort Worth area. I still remember. it was a by 2 get one free sale. my grandpa got me ruby and sapphire used for a good price, and I got another used T&T free.

The way Metroid Prime remastered got shadow dropped on direct last Wednesday was stunning. Already pre-ordered the physical copy of Metroid Prime remastered which comes out on Feb 22, but I might get the digital copy of this game as a backup for the Switch.

This direct was absolutely amazing. I got emotional with some of these announcements.

My favorite part is when Jess goes through mental breakdown and looses it completly (14:58 - 22:35), which happens almost every time but never gets old. The entire Direct was MASSIVE, announcements for every taste, as always. Pikmin 4, NSO GB & GBA games, Metroid Prime Remastered, Baten Kaitos 1&2 HD Remaster and, obviosly Zelda were my highlights, but every other game announced is as important. Also, don't sleep on LEVEL 5 games, people.

I screamed so loud when I saw Golden Sun. I almost cried because I thought Nintendo and Camelot forgot about Golden Sun forever. I imagine they will eventually add The Lost Age too, because you have to play both to get the full experience and story. I love your enthusiastic reactions!!

Your reaction to the Metroid Prime remaster was just life-giving. Prime is already one of my favorite games ever, and so playing through this remaster is gonna be simply sublime.

: Metroid Prime Remastered shadowdropping was such a welcome surprise. That was my first Metroid game, and even though it's a totally unconventional introduction, I belieeeeeeeeeeve it was my first experience with the Metroidvania genre as a whole. So much of that game, the music in particular, is permanently etched into my brain (the major item fanfare in that game is perfect and I refuse to believe that any of the older or newer versions are better). Given the beauty of the new textures, the better controls, etc - I will DEFINITELY get this, and hope Prime 2 Remastered will arrive soon.

I remember just listening to the main menu music of Metroid Prime twenty years ago and just being enthralled by it. Hearing it in the direct was so magical. I can't believe its real and I can play it now!

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will add Masha, the Lapidarist Healer in Volume 3 of the Expansion Pass. She can craft special accessories using a new resource called Enigmatter that will likely debut alongside her. Wave 3 also includes the Archsage's Challenge, a rogue-like event which has you battling wave after wave of enemies for various rewards. There will also be Throwback outfits for all the characters that refer to various characters from the first two Xenoblade Chronicles games. Volume 4 will include an all-new story that pits adult Shulk and adult Rex against Alvis, but that is likely the tip of the iceberg.

That was a pretty decently good Nintendo Direct! I'm glad that there's a new Pikmin 4, Metroid Prime Remastered with new HD quality and not just an upres, Kirby Deluxe with Magolor, Gameboy, Gameboy Advance old school games and Zelda Tears of Kingdom. They are gonna be so good!

This Direct was incredible, one surprise after the other (the biggest one for me being Level 5 back outside of Japan with a completely new game, a new Fantasy Life and especially a new Layton)! Unfortunately don't have the time to watch your content on Twitch, but ever since I discovered this channel I never miss one of your reactions Jess, love your enthusiasm! By the way, can't recommend Ghost Trick enough now that it's coming to Switch, especially if you like Ace Attorney since it's by the same creator!

I love how excited you were for Metroid Prime. Nintendo is doing a phenomenal job bringing back the series. A full remaster with all the options you could want for a respectable $40 is just what this franchise needs. And by the time MP4 comes out they will have a much bigger fanbase that will buy it, because of all this attention. Level 5 literally Wose fwom their Gwave hard like some kind of Altered Beast. Three brand new games and they look fantastic. And this is simply in addition to all the other amazing stuff. Still, the Level 5 announcements was like a fairy tale Miracle. I want to hear the story behind that and this sudden resurgence of a beloved company thought to be in their death throes. (And Etrian Odyssey had me screaming. I played these games religiously on the 3DS and was worried they were left to die with the end of the 3DS Gen)
