I do like how the responses to F-ZERO 99 are either "This sucks! Such a kick to the balls of F-ZERO fans!" or "This is AWESOME! What a great day for F-ZERO fans!". There is just nothing inbetween.^^
@@crazykim Indeed. It's a shame that Mario 35 didn't stick around (heck, I would gladly pay money if they had just brought it back as a paid game, instead of a free one, so long as the price was reasonable), but there was a very clear-cut reason for that which doesn't apply to F-Zero 99.
It's like they're trying to top Square Enix in dumb names, and succeeding. This is the kind of name someone woulda actively go out of their way to NOT mention because it's too embarassing. The game looks amazing though.
Looking forward for the Metroid of Persiavania game, looks legit great! Got some Guacamelee vibes from it, though I guess that kind of movement is not too uncommon. Hoping that they're really going crazy on some parcours stuff as well, like in the previous 3D PoP games.
Having not played Thousand-Year Door since near its release, I didn't recognize the book either. I knew it had to be something related to Mario because of the star, and something in the back of my mind was telling me that the book looked oddly familiar. But that alone wasn't enough for me to know the game.
I can relate with that mentality in regards to Prince of Persia. Sometimes a game will look great, but I wind up giving it a pass despite that simply because I find myself preoccupied with higher priority games.
My one concern with TTYD Remake is if they'll undo the censorship the NA version got back in the day. Vivian's original story from the Japanese version would be especially welcome right now.
Considering the dialogue change in Bowsers castle. Idk however they did keep the noose so I guess first thing to check is if they still have things censored like the Japanese version having an crime scene being where you find the theif who steals your coins in the beginning
I was excited for the Tomb Raider remasters until I saw who was developing them. Aspyr remasters are always completely barebones. They ported a bunch of star wars games to modern consoles and they've all been barebones 1:1 ports of their Xbox/PS2 games. No added features, QOL upgrades or nothing. The fact that they upgraded the visuals for this is surprising
No fucking WAY they are re-releasing thousand year door. Hell yes. Ok I got jebaited by.. what? Unicorn Overlord? God damn it just make ogre battle! Still, gonna keep my eye on that one.
39:37 I love the reaction from fans, with the reveal of a remake of Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. We all have that one game, we love, we thought we would never see again, rereleased, remastered or remade. For me that game is Backyard Baseball. My mind would explode if that game somehow got remade! Yes I know the series is still on going, kinda, but It is a shell of it's former self. Bring that series back to it's glory days. Keep the 1997 2-D art style, but also add some new features. First thing you have to do is remaster the music. Then add local and online multiplayer. How about a home run derby mode? How about halfway through the season you have a all-star game. As for the characters you can choose from? Bring back all the original Backyard Baseball kids as well as throwback and current day pro players. Once that is done and the game is out and the hype around this game grows, you could have an EVO style tournament showcasing some of the best Backyard Baseball players from around the world and there teams. You could sell so much merch as well. You could sell shirts of each team or some of the most popular characters. There would be such a dedicated fanbase. Could you imagine it? People chanting and singing along to Pablo Sanchez's song or rock n roll/metal heads headbanging to Amir Khan's song or people getting pumped up to Jocinda Smith's song? It would be glorious!
Some curated highlights for me to find later and not remember what they are exactly. 0:56 6:54 8:58 9:46 13:06 14:55 15:50 17:24 18:33 + 22:45 23:12 25:53 27:23 + 29:00 31:26 + 32:40 35:48 37:12 37:43 38:38 39:44 +
I pawn on buying a couple of games from the direct Of course, the JRPG stuff looks really good, and I'm curious about that code game and the other games that are supposed to be coming out. It's just interesting to me that if something is good, it's called mid just because it's more of an insulting way of saying it's okay. I'm not even a big Mario game fan myself, but I'm gonna play one of these, maybe even 2 and for me to sit here and be like. Yeah, I'm playing 5 or 6 games. I cannot say this wasn't a good direct.
I love TTYD but Unicorn overlord is definitely my most anticipated game shown. Too bad no one will buy it because of its stupid name, like the Wii U and Triange Strategy before it.
I'm definitely intrigued by Unicorn Overlord as well. Partly because, just like Jared, I was getting some serious Ogre Battle vibes from it. And that's a series that deserves a comeback.
