This is an amazing video. I hope you are proud of this, the vibe, the camera work, the voice over, its all there. Ive always wanted a controller mod setup and recently thought id entertain the idea of doing it myself, despite having very little experience (ive fixed broken connections on gba games and ive fixed some dsi') and seeing this video, and how clearly you explain this, im all in. Excellent job, and i wish you success. My only question is this.(and my apologies if you addressed this already, i havent fully finished the video since im not ready to follow along yet.) Is it possible to set this up, alongside the loopy capture cards? I have two of the old cap cards, which i believe used to not have any soldering done, and i would plan to buy 2-6 of the DIY New loopy boards, which do have soldering. Would these mods be able to coexist?

have you tried installing the RX flex board? would you recommend it or stick with the WGC RX board? edit: for someone less experienced in soldering is the flex board easier to install?

Personally I have not installed the flex board but I would definitely recommend it for someone less experienced. The install process is a lot simpler so I would definitely go with the flex board.

Hey man im lookin into buyin multiple ds lites n am curious on which is better the ds lite wireless rx flex board or the wireless rx board idk which is more important all i wanna do is control multiple ds lites with 1 gameboy n b able to play either gba games or ds games simultaneously can u help me out

The WRX board and the ds lite wireless rx flex board do the exact same thing. The ds lite flex board is extremely easier to install in a ds lite though compared to the WRX board. I would 100% recommend buying the ds lite wireless rx flex board.

What do you mean by model? If your meaning a ds lite or the original ds (some people call it the ds phat) then the ds lite wireless rx flex board will only work in the ds lite. There's a wireless rx board for the original ds too if that's what your looking for. Hope this answered your question 👍

The capture card actually doesn't get in the way at all. I have a video on how to install a capture card and in the video there is a controller mod installed if that helps at all. If you need any help, feel free to join Insidegadgets discord and then just send me a dm. Hope this helped!

Just wanted to update you. I did end up sending 3 of my ds phats with capture cards to a friend. He has order the controller mods for me and everything I need and he will install them. I've commissioned him to do it for me. Alot of other people I know as well recommended him.

I have not watched all of it myself but it should give you a fairly good understanding. I'm thinking I'll make my own tutorial sometime but in the meantime this one should help.

Hey sorry, I responded earlier today but for some reason its not showing up for me now. I really wish I could accept, but right now I'm not able to take any commissions. This mod only works for the original ds, but there is a much simpler way to get a Bluetooth controller to work on your 3ds. All you need is custom firmware for your 3ds and a computer to run a program.
