Just got a Quasicade HD from Facebook Marketplace, and had these exact thoughts... good to know what I'm getting into, even if I just want to change the hideous button colors. 😂 Such a weird setup for these cabinets, but I can see what they were going for.

nice build but for monkey ball you have to do it right. get a naomi, net dimm, pi, and analog sega joystick, 3d print the banana is available. pretty easy just getting all together

Do you know if there is a standard part out there for the pressure-sensitive happ buttons? Those seem like they’d be really fun to mess around with
