Nintendo Labo Variety Kit - English Overview Trailer (Create Bike Tracks, Fish, Music, & More!)

I was skeptical of the Labo at first, but seeing this took my concerns away. I can easily see the bike and piano games alone being incredibly popular with the creative freedom they give to players ( and I can already see the numerous RU-vid videos of people remaking famous VG tracks with the piano game)

These are way more intricate than we’d thought! The piano, for example, is super cool that they have a midi studio, essentially. Great job Nintendo!

This is pretty amazing! I didn't think it had that much depth. I like that you can create your own bike tracks and you can do so much with the piano.

I can't believe the party pooper "adults" that think they're too old to like this. You don't have to be rushing out to buy it, but you have to at least admit it's neat little techknowledgy, especially for it's target audience. It really has that wholesome Nintendo charm. Dismissing something for being too "childish" is sometimes ironically the most childish thing you can do.

My Labo is ready

I like that already each individual activity packs almost if not more than the likes of Wii Sports ever did. The afct all have some level of customization also adds to the idea that this is suppose to be for kids to create new stuff rather than just a minigame to play for 5 mins and then drop it.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm really interested in this, I mean really really interested. . . . and I'm 31, gonna have to keep playing while the daughter's in school then, yup. Edit: Aaaand it comes out on their vacation, welp, first come first serve then wahahaha.

That racing one looks freaking awesome in terms of custom course possibilities.

I was more curious about the variety kit than the Robot one, and HOLY CRAP. I want that variety kit now. The creativity that this offers is amazing. This is exactly what I wanted when I was a kid.

I was a little skeptical at first but now that we have an in-depth look, I think kids will have a lot of fun with this! I love how much work Nintendo puts into everything they do!

nintendo has made an underpriced cardboard synthesizer, Full SYNTHESIZER DAMMIT

Robotics/RC car. Fishing Simulator. Virtual Pet. Excitebike. Music Maker. That's 5 very different demographics, but each of them could be a great standalone game, getting all 5 means each one hits something great.

That motorcycle game has more depth then I was expecting. I assumed it would just be a bunch of simple Wii Sports styled minigames for the Labo projects, I didn't think it would come with a full featured racing game.

You wanna know what my favorite game in the kit is? The motorbike racing. It's like ModNation Racers all over again. And I LOVE it.

The Bike and Piano ones look very cool after learning all of its features. Otherwise I'm not sure if its worth a buy

Wow, Nintendo is going all out with this. That bike game looks pretty fun! This is really going to inspire creativity. I thought it would before, but a part of me felt that that "creativity" was limited since you're just building what Nintendo had layed out on the template. A lot of these games let you create your own things, though. You can create your own fish, music, and race tracks in the fishing, piano, and bike games, all in interesting ways often involving real materials. That IR Scanner on the right Joy-Con sure is nifty, eh? The House game lets you experiment by putting those blocks into the house in different ways to get different effects. I'm sure that the RC Car will have some cool things, too. Figuring out how these Toy-Con work will also be a great learning experience for kids, especially the RC Car. That little bug is pretty neat, if you ask me!

This is pretty awesome. It does so much more than originally advertised. And I can even create wave forms with the piano. Ok. It looks like I can really create some crazy videos with this stuff now.

i can already see youtube being flooded with creative LABO projects! : D music, racetracks, and of course simply customizing the toycons themselves. CANNOT WAIT!!

I'm very surprised by how much depth this kit has. Bravo Nintendo, you've proved me wrong to think this would be another 1 2 Switch. The bike game in particular is amazing, it's basically a bike version of the Mario Kart Maker I've dreamed about!
