Ahhhhh. The nostalgia from when I was 10. Playing this game for over a year to get all platinum (took me two months to finish the stupid donkey kong levels) and all the collectables. It was so much fun playing it with my brothers. Also monita is the best
Also some tips on stages:Stage 1: Basic moves and gradually gets faster, if you can't do this then well... you need to practice if you want to get the next stages.Stage 2: Again basic moves and revolves around one arm. CAUTION: (If you choose to use the gamepad you will have to do the opposite of what the your teacher does),... to avoid this issue just simply look at your TV and copy the moves from there.Stage 3: CAUTION: This is where things get a little tricky sometimes. Lots of new things are introduced and you will need to be ready when they are implemented into the game. First off your lean to the side is introduced (just lean the gamepad left or right), also the jump is introduced, just shake the gamepad, but all and all the most important thing is by far THE SQUID, which blinds you and forces you to look at your TV. It stays around for 2 turns (1 if you fail)... Also tricky movements will be at the end.Stage 4: Movements where you will have to put your arms out and rotate the analog stick in a certain direction, this ranges to very easy to very difficult. Other than that not a lot to say for this one.Stage 5: A review (in a way) and mostly very hard to remember movements. BEWARE of the last 2 because they are blazing fast and can screw you over.EXTRA STAGE: (You will need to beat stage 5 again to get to this stage): The beats range from 1 to 7 (with no beat #s of 4 and 6). This stage tends to follow a pattern for the 1s and will get insanely fast at the end. Just try your best and DO NOT feel bad if you can't do it (this will take probably dozens of tries depending on the movements by your teacher, the squid and when it decides to show up, and how many lives you lose on stages 4 and 5 (maybe 3).If you can do all of that... well congrats you have beaten the hardest attraction in the game (in my opinion and probably many others' opinions) and have earned my respect in Nintendo land.
If you tap the squid it gets smaller and its ink covers up less of the screen. Problem is you have to time it before it regrows, while also paying attention to the instructor.
This guy got all perfects and got to the bonus stage when my small brain can't get past the first stage, and rarely when I do, I fail at like the 3rd part of stage 2. Edit: Today I actually almost completed the 4th stage of octopus dance and got 27 perfects on it. I'm proud of myself now
I want Monita in Smash with moves from this game and all other games with a final smash based on dark monita. Or at least a dark monita stage boss for this new mode with Rathalos and whoever else.
This video gave me confidence to beat all 5 stages for the first time and I did in. Less than a hour in 1 go so thanks to this video I got a star for octopus dance : D
this gives me so much nostalgia. i remember being absolutely petrified every time the octopus grabbed my mii and sent him to the shadow realm because i failed on like the second stage or so.
Dude this is such an amazing attraction, I remember playing this 11-12 years ago when this came out. It was definitely one of those challenging ones it wasn't too hard but it was pretty fun. Nostalgia, Nintendo land is my favorite
DAMN! Du bist ein Gott! :O Mein Rekord bisher waren 30 Perfekts in Folge.
ladies love the octopus dance its my favorite one player game and my favorites go 1.Luigi Ghost Mansion 2.Animal Crossing 3.Octopus Dance 4.Mario Chase 5.Metroid Blast
I just beat the extra stage today and let me tell you HOLY CRAP WAS IT HARD!!!!!!!! Before today I had not touched Nintendo land in about 2 months, after getting a star on all of the attractions. But yesterday I made the brave decision to go back and attempt to get all of the stamps... long story short on that I got all stamps on Mario chase, animal crossing, and Luigi's mansion. Failing and getting an X on stage 4 once and stage 5 once as well, I entered the extra stage with 2 lives. Got the first through 12 and failed and got another X. With 7 to go I thought the run was over and I would fail yet again on that stage to not get "That's A Wrap"stamp". Long story short... reaches the end and wanted to scream loud enough to break an ear drum.
