Fun fact: Nintendo and Sony were trying to make a CD/Cartridge add on for the Super Nintendo and there is only one that exists somewhere around the world that work’s cartridges only but not CD’s, after a day of collaboration they called off the partner ship and partnered with Philips to make those shitty Microsoft Paint lookin’ ass Mario, & Zelda games for the CDI by Philips (basically the games that had those cursed ass animations that everyone saw in RU-vid Poop videos back when RU-vid was still a baby) and meanwhile with Sony the PS1 released and the whole brand became a main stay in the gaming industry beating the Nintendo 64 by a landslide.
@@BlazeInferno360 Well sure when playing with family or friends, it's way more fun that way. Though, most of my playtime is by myself, so the QoL changes outweigh that for me 🤷
@jimmysmomschannel The reason why I prefer the Wii U version over the Switch version is because the Wii U version has the touch pad which made things a lot easier.
No, not every great chrildhood had a Wii. Truly great childhoods had an NES, an SNES, and an N64. Sure, Wii sold a lot of consoles, but most of those went to adults who only bought the Wii for Wii sports - after playing it, they sat collecting dust. Wii needs to sit down amd shut up.
@@jimmysmomschannel I never had a Wii. And like I said, it was adults buying the console just for Wii sports. I had an NES, SNES, and N64. Not everybody is gen Z like you.
@@VincentMcmanus. Well, you never had a Wii, nothing to go off of, so how would you know that? Is that something you googled? Me and my brother had our own Wii's and we had loads of games. I had more Mario games, while he had more Sonic games. When we'd go to our cousins houses, they'd have Wii's and you'd never see Wii sports out. They'd have Wii sports resort, but it wasn't even close to the most played game. Even with older and newer friends with Wii's, they all have loads of games, usually GameCube games or Japanese imports. What, you thought because Wii Sports came with every console, and that it's the best selling game on Wii for that specific reason, that it was the only reason why people bought a Wii? No one turns on their Wii to pop in Wii Sports, you can ask anyone what's their most played games on their Wii and no one will say Wii Sports. If you replaced Wii Sports with Smash bros, Mario Kart, or even Mario Bros., this would make more sense. The same could be said for a Wii U and 3DS, though we all know most of our time went to Streetpass 😅 Also, sure I may be Gen Z, you say that like I was born yesterday. I grew up with a PS1, PS2, and a Genesis. At the time I got the Wii, I was playing NES, SNES, and N64 on my phone pretty much every day until my step dad bought them separately. Then my dad got an Xbox 360 which broke 2 weeks ago. Anyway, back to the point, your point is like saying people only bought an N64 to play Mario 64 or Mario Kart, which clearly isn't the case (lmao) because well, isn't Majora's considered one of the best games of all time? (I personally don't agree with, same for OoT) It's the golden cartridge right? I don't remember that being shipped as a bundle.
@@jimmysmomschannel because, I was an adult when it came out, and know a bunch of adults who bought it just for Wii sports. Besides that, surveys and sales number do not lie. The highest selling game on that platform was Wii sports. It's facts. Your personal experience does not matter.
@@VincentMcmanus. Again Wii sports ships with the console, so the sales of the console would naturally match the sales of the game. You could, again say the same for Super Mario 64. It's the best selling game for the N64, so it has to be the reason why you'd buy a N64 right? Also, the Wii U, it had to be because Mario Kart 8! BotW? No way! (y'know because that definitely didn't win GOTY, both voters and editors choice)
Where does this guy get off?!?! He's comparing his"appendage" to the most revered book in existence! Unacceptable! I would say a cancellation is in order. Who's with me?
