Seeing how you mentioned that virtually every Zelda have different personalities and goals, how a list of Princess Zelda Incarnations Good to Most Good?

I'm surprised Rosalina's storybook wasn't mentioned, it literally shows how selfless she is by putting her own life aside in order to help a lost star child find his mother. She built an entire shelter for a countless number of Lumas, provides each of them with entertainment, emotional support and homemade baked goods. It actually makes sense why she's unable to help Mario more, being a mother of one child can already be a full-time job, imagine taking care of hundreds. and the dialogue from every Luma regarding Rosalina is always positive, which shows just how good she truly is.

At least Peach's driving doesn't count against her. She's pretty vicious in Kart

I would've put Rosalina, Daisy and Peach in the opposite order shown. Rosalina - out of all the Mario characters - has to be one of the ones with the best morals..

Ok, so for Eirika, she doesn’t marry Ephraim. Her paired ending with him just says she works with him to help repair Rineas and gave hope to those ravaged by the war, and Heroes completely shuts down them being love interest. For Edelgard, she actually doesn’t force her father off the throne, and cares a lot about him, and pretty much ask him, and wants to take that stressful burden off him because she’s seen how much he struggles even though she was the one physically tormented. Lastly for Peach and Rosalina, I do think Peach needs to be higher up, and I think Rosalina because the way she treats her Luma’s and Mario really shows how kind she is, and even more so in her stories shows just how kind she is.

Rosalina is the love of my life. Just like Smash bros characters: good to evil, I'm surprised to see her in the gray area. She's way nicer than Peach. She protects the cosmos and she is a wonderful mother to the lumas. She is the purest and nicest princess I've ever met, and I love her. ❤

Rosalina should be number 1 most good. First she saved the Lumas from extinction. In Mario Galaxy she must have been nurturing the hurt Lumas back to full health and looking for Bowser’s hideout, which was who knows how many light years away, and Rosalina along with the Lumas she RAISED, fixed the universe after a super massive black hole nearly destroyed it. Also, in Mario Plus Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, she literally sacrificed herself for her thousands of children so Cursa couldn’t hurt them. Does this sound like to most mortal character ever to you? It does to me.

In defense of Rosalina's inaction... She has a job. Sure, she's one of the most powerful characters in the Mario universe, but she has a job she must keep her attention on: caring for the Lumas until they become what they were meant to be, be it stars, planets, or many other objects throughout the universe.

Ngl I feel like characters like Pauline or even Agitha should get an honorable mention, as even tho they may not be considered official princesses (even tho Agitha is theorized to be actual royalty that was secluded for her 'uniqueness') they should still be considered honorable princesses, like how Mulan or Moana are considered Disney Princesses even tho they dont have that specific title in their movies. Also Pauline is basically the equivalent of a princess, I mean she rules over her City like a princess would rule her Kingdom lol. Also the fact that Super Mario Run is the only other mainline appearance of Daisy makes me wish for more as she has great potential for her own fleshed out story lol

Here's my stance on Edelgard. As a disclaimer, Edelgard is my favorite character in Fire Emblem despite this view. First of all, it is established that she did NOT force her father to get off the throne. Secondly, I see Edelgard as a villain too. She's definitely not the most evil villain in the series (or Three Houses for that matter), but it's hard to deny she makes some bad choices. As mentioned in this video, she assumed the role of the Flame Emperor, manipulated and backstabbed her fellow students, and started a war that could've been avoided by simply talking it out with Rhea. Even if it didn't work, she could've at least tried first. Lastly, I think people calling her goals absolutely good don't realize the implications. She wants to create a world where an individual's talents are recognized instead of titles or status. That's great and all, but it will ultimately amount to the strong dominating the weak yet again. By this logic, this plan has actually been attempted by another FE villain: Ashnard. Yet, I don't see anybody defending him. It really goes to show how much perspective alters others' views on a character.

BOTW Princess Zelda is freaking perfect! Can't wait to see her again in BOTW 2 with short hair this time.

How is Peach more good than Rosalina? And how is Rosalina in the grey area? Rosalina is one of the purest characters in the Mario series. She’s a lot smarter than her, calmer than her and does a lot more than her. Peach doesn’t know how to protect herself after all this time, sometimes a crybaby and rejected Mario in Odyssey. Rosalina is actually able to do something, she helps Mario and guides him, gives him powers and she looks after her lumas. Not to mention she just generally seems to be a lot nicer than Peach or Daisy too. I would’ve put Rosalina somewhere in the top

I would have moved Melia up 2 spots and give her the Silver medal. Likewise, I would have put Edelgard higher than Hilda, she actually would have had a less body count compared to Hilda. Also, she is oblivious to the fact that Adredtian Emperors have been lied to for generations about Nemesis is another motivator. Pretty sure she would have sided with the Church had she known the full truth from the beginning.

I have a bit to say about Anthea and Concordia's ranking. First off, just because they're affiliated with Team Plasma. Doesn't automatically mean they're bad. Second, there was nothing bad that they did. At least in my opinion. Keep the opinion part in mind for anyone reading this. Finally, they've done mostly good. So in my opinion, I think they more than deserve a decently high spot in the good tier.

Zelda having bronze could easily be explained with one thing, OoT's zelda sending link back in time with the Ocarina of Time (lol), causing the split. If he would've just done it himself with the master sword, he could've wiped the future completely.

I don’t argue that Edelgard is on the bad category but I would argue that she is 1 step over the line of grey. I argue that Hilda is actually a grey character because her actions are born of a desire to prevent the imminent destruction of her kingdom and the death of her people, and while stealing the triforce would eventually doom Hyrule to a similar fate as lorule the fact is that Hyrule would decay over centuries much like what happened to lorule buying a lot of time before either kingdom is destroyed As for Edelgard her three houses counterpart I would put in the bad category while her three hopes version I would put in the morally grey area. Yes she did start a war that engulfed the continent but well…..the church is a really bad organization, through the events of three houses and it’s dlc cindered shadows we see the church is just as manipulative and controlling as those who slither in darkness. Mass execution of dissenters Rewriting history to favor the church Restricting scientific discoveries in medicine and oil Obscurify the fact that faith magic (healing magic) is not actually tied to the study of their religion ( effectively making the church the only functional way for people to get any medical treatment on the continent) Enforcing the nobility system based on crests on the populace Also did I forget to mention that the church is willing to perform experiments on infants in the hopes of turning one of them into the vessel to revive their dead god…….that last one in videogame is typically associated with the motivations of the VILLIANS of a story Now why three hopes edelgard is grey and not evil is because well, first chance she gets she completely drops those who slither in darkness and tries to arrest/kill them, she shifts from having the war be about eliminating the church to eliminating the church leadership preserving the church through a new archbishop (granted I know a lot of people will say that it’s just a mouth piece for edelgard to control people through faith, my counter is……..that is literally what Rhea was doing for generations)

midna and hilda should be higher on the list. And yes I get that everybody's going to start trolling me, but they both risk their life to save a kingdom outside their own. For example near the end of A Link Between Worlds Hilda changes her motives and saves links life as he attempts to defeat Yuga. On the other hand midna even goes as far as to Warp link and Zelda to Hyrule Field so that they don't have to watch her attempt to defeat Ganon in his Godly form. In the end she sacrifices her life and only when you defeat Ganon in one-on-one combat in Hyrule Field do the light spirits resurrect her most likely because they saw her good deeds towards the hero. And yes these two characters originally had evil intent, but in the end they had attempted to save Both Worlds outside of their own. For example Hilda had plans to steal the Triforce from Hyrule to save her own kingdom. And midna forces servitude from Link in order to go through own agenda. But in the end they both sacrifice something to help a kingdom outside their own. And Bandit games has an excellent Theory called," is midna dead?" if you will please watch this Theory it will prove that at least midna didn't deserve to be put lower on this list.

I would personally put Princess Peach lower. The reason why is because yes she's a very sweet, and kind person most of the time. But if you think about it she got kidnapped by Bowser multiple times, and isn't taking care of her own kingdom like a real princess is supposed to. In Super Mario Galaxy she put her Toad citizens at risk from Bowser doing absolutely nothing. Also she has been shown to reject Mario at times. A good example is in Super Mario Bros 3 where she made a joke saying the princess in is another castle when Mario was tired from going on that long adventure. But she's not a bad person, there's just alot of bad things going on in her life with being kidnapped so many times never catching a break. Daisy, and Rosalina are more good than Peach imo.🍑🌼🌟🏰

I’m going to have to completely disagree with your positioning on Princess Peach here. In fact, she very well deserves first prize for the reasons I’m about to mention right now. Nintendo may not be as naive with princesses like her as you might think. It is true that from face value she’s unwilling to take preventative action when she’s in trouble. But put into context, she’s really one of the strongest-willed people out there in Videoland. *The real reason she doesn’t take action is because she’s trying to avoid any and all risk of getting hurt if she ever retaliated.* If you were the king of France in medieval times, would you fight back if a solider had taken you off to the enemy’s torture chamber? No, of course not. That’s because you know you’re an extremely valuable resource to your kingdom, being your people’s royal leader and all. If you tried to fight back in that particular moment instead, they would’ve most likely strangled you until you kept going or suffocated. You just let your knights, less valuable yet equally important resources, rescue you for you. Princess Peach just lets her plumbers, Mario and Luigi, recuse her from Bowser’s vile grasp. And yes, she could definitely use all of her white magic in one go to totally destroy a villain’s plans and lair if absolutely necessary. She’s that freakishly powerful. However, note the details: she still has limited magic, and using all that to completely wipe out a villain’s pride and joy like Bowser’s would leave her completely powerless for the next villain that’s coming up. Plus, remember the original NES Super Mario Brothers story: all her magic is usually drained out by Bowser and his black magic in the main Mario games. And don’t forget that she’s usually totally locked away from civilization and any access to the outside, so physical combat is completely out of the question, too. In other words, she could and definitely would turn Bowser to dust if she were able. She’s just involuntarily forced into an environment where she literally can’t take any action whatsoever. She has total absence of action; all she can do is wait. *In conclusion, to be honest, I think Bowser’s more afraid of Peach than Peach is afraid of Bowser.* To Peach, Bowser is just a minor annoyance, but to Bowser, Peach is like a nuclear warhead. That’s because she’s extremely powerful compared to the rest of the people in the Mushroom World, human or toad, and will gracefully do anything to anywhere, especially if it’s the enemy’s, from causing its Koopa Troop to fall too madly in love with each other to focus on their job, to outright vaporizing them and their entire home in a supernova-level flash of light. Oh, and I shouldn’t even have to mention she can turn into a literal archangel if ever necessary. She’s that omnipotent, folks. :-)
