I know the in game ones are rendered sprites, I was saying that they looked like the models used for the artwork used in the manual and stuff like that. Although those same artwork models were probably also used to render the sprites. And even if these aren't the same models, they are really close, which is still quite cool.
It’s probably because the program that this was made in ( lightwave 3D) was also used to make the very first clip of Jimmy Neutron (about 5 or 4 years before the first episode aired).
Sameee bro! I was born in 98 so hardly experienced anything from that era but mannn I feel nostalgic for it and overall I feel like I belong In the 90’s lol
Interesting that the karts have seat belts, as opposed to ingame where they don't have any at all. Also Funky Kong at 0:14, man has been in mario kart this whole time AND the Porsche kinda reminds me of how you can drive an actual GLA on mk8.
Back when fast food resturants had their own look and their promotional events felt special, with actual good toys. When was the last time you remember taco bell or even mcdonalds having something rememberable as a toy or promotional event? Besides monopoly at mcdonalds which turned out to be a scandal?
Man when I saw this ad on TV, I asked my mom for a Nintendo 64 for Christmas that year and she said no probably because I already had a Nintendo console at that point or something, but then I finally got one for my next birthday and I was quite happy.
i actually remember seeing this commercial multiple times on tv and eating at taco bell while this promotion was happening. I got most of the mario themed toys through the duration of the commercial. no longer have them sadly. i also remember my parents trying their luck at getting that 64 cap just to win the porsche. unfortunately we never won anything.
