Seeing that Space Cadet 3-D pinball in the intro sure takes me back. When you weren’t allowed to go on the regular games sites in school and the computer had Space Cadet, the answer was clear. No matter what you do, the sounds of the pinball keeps bringing you in because it’s just that addicting. It knows how to catch your attention
I have spent so many hours on the original Pokemon Pinball, both back in the day and later on through backwards compatibility and emulators. It's really what introduced me to the mechanics of pinball, beyond just hitting the ball with the paddles.
The thing I hate about clickbait is that you put so much effort into the actual video that is really great only for the thumbnail to be the only thing that people talk about.
I'll be honest if I didn't know your content I wouldn't have clicked on the video because of the thumbnail. I won't unsub, but as much as the thumbnail attracts some people it will also drive others away. Anyway interesting video I'm not much into pinball games so this covered some new territory for me. Pinball quest surprised me with the rpg mode and the Japan crossover game with Gundam looked kinda fun. I knew about the Mario and Kirby games, but I never owned a handheld until the ds. So as a kid I had no idea they existed even though I had the Mario fast-food toy ball. For some reason I gave no thought of why Mario was a rubber ball or knew that it was from a pinball game.
What, no Galactic Pinball? That game was rad. Though... it _was_ on the Virtual Boy so... not many people probably know it exists. It should totally get some kind of re-release, ideally with actual colors other than red and black.
Was waiting for prime pinball. I remember when federation force trailer dropped, one fan got so angry that the top comment was, "What's next?! Metroid pinball?!" Or something like that with a follow-up of "I found out today that there is already a Metroid pinball" so glad Metroid has made a comeback though.
Game & Watch Pinball (1983), Pokémon Pinball: Ruby and Sapphire (2003 Gameboy Advance), Mario Pinball (2004 Gameboy Advance), Pac-Man Pinball Advance (2005 Gameboy Advance), Metroid Prime Pinball (2005 Nintendo DS) and Odama (2006 GameCube). Just to name a few more Nintendo branded Pinball games.
The only weird Nintendo pinball game I ever played was Pokémon Pinball. I used to have it when I was a kid. I got it along with Nintendo Game Boy Color for Christmas in 2000 at age 10 but sadly I decided to get rid of it by giving away for the charity in August 2005 at age 15. I thought it was fun and enjoyable but sometimes it can be very frustrating 😤 especially when you lose the game. Unfortunately I never completed the Pokédex and some boss stages which I never made it to either. I thought it was too hard. It's probably one of the hardest Game Boy Color games of all time. Anyway greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪
I used to play Mario Pinball Land all the time as a kid, and I really didn’t like it and still don’t like it to this day. There’s just something so frustrating about how the game plays, and it almost never feels like my own fault whenever I get a game over a million times. At least the graphics and music are pretty good.
Can't say I have that pinball wizard feeling. I mean I'll give it a go if the machine is there and I've played everything else I wanted to play. Just things I'd rather play and to be good at pinball you need some finesse with the machine itself there is more to just pressing the flippers. I have an at games arcade legends ultimate arcade cab where I could buy virtual pinball for but I just don't like pinball that much.
Conner, what is up with the clickbait thumbnails as of late? Sure they probably bring in clicks, but your content, imho. Is good enough without it. I appreciate peach as much as the next person, sure, but if it's not related to the video in any shape or form it just makes it seem desperate.
his OC's so cute, but how come the shirt doesn't crease up when he has his hands on his hips though? i mean it's kinda wrinkled at the bottom so it'd make sense
“Mario Pinball Land is considered the definitive Nintendo pinball game” Anyone who says that must hate pinball then because I almost hear nothing but negative to mixed opinions about it. Also you forgot Galactic Pinball for Virtual Boy and Jaki Crush for the Super Famicom.
